    Got serious sticker shock at the price of the crown for my dental implant. $1500. That's on top of the $2000 spent to get the implant hardware put in.

    The dog was medium sized black lab, and yes I am sorry to say that he did die, but it was very quick, he was dead by the time she got the car stoppped. There were no houses within a mile either direction, so she just pulled it to the side of the road.

    The good news is that the van is done and looks good too.

    Oh yes, this I know well. Genetics toasted me in the tooth department (as well as in the eyes & sinuses departments, too).
    My dentist's goal was to make sure I didn't lose my first permanent tooth until the age of thirty. That goal was accomplished, at least. But now I'm looking at quite a lot of work on my teeth for pretty much the rest of my life. Ugh.

    I love Jon Stuart and Steven Colbert. Did you know Steven Colbert is a HUGE LOTR fan? And he is quite terrified by bears as well. They really should start airing those shows on Friday nights as well. I think we should start a petition. Who's with me?
