I quit smoking with a bad cold. I found it made things easier when you are so sick that you just don't want to smoke. That was 4 or 5 years ago.

 

My computer has gone insane

 

It was sooo hot yesterday...

 

Ahhh, the throat is so sore... Pain, extreme pain.

 

Well it looks like we are going to have company for at least one more day. The neices and nephew were supposed to go home today, but there is a travel ban in effect due to the snow. Some parts of the county (the area we would have to drive through to get them home) are getting 6 inches of snow an hour. Only light snow here right now thankfully!

I am off to dreamland now, may the spam be with you all!

WoW, here I come!

 

My mom just phoned me to tell me that her neihbours dog killed her cat yesterday. This is the second time that has happened. She's not going to get any more cats.

 

I dont think I like that dog. :/

Wish I could make up my mind about who to include into the party for my next run through SoA...

 

Was it the same dog both times, Dfly?

 

I'm back, peeps... managing my part of the shop is time-consuming beyond all reason - the last three or four days (can't really say) were pretty much hectic, a mix of homeworks, paperwork to fill, actual job and trying to sleep.

So, I guess I have some catching up to do.

Too cool, work called, and the snow is so bad that no one wants to leave. They said they would call when the snow clears and I will go in then. I am going to get to watch the superbowl!!

 

Nooo...I think my skin is peeling...I wasn't even in the sun that long...

 

Superball is very soon to come, however i am stuck doing an assignement on 15 pages about firewalls thats due on thursday, i would rather be with my friends drinking a whole lotta beers though

 

@ Shell - Yes, same dog. He's huge and 1/2 Siberian huskey, which are known for their hunting instinct. He killed one of his owners cats as well about a year and 1/2 ago and looked really guilty after he did it. I think he knew it was wrong but he couldn't help himself.

He's actually a nice dog when it comes to people and my mothers neighbor has been her friend for many many years. The owner of the dog (her neighbor) felt really bad and apologized more than once but it doesn't bring back a very sweet cat. My mother lives alone in the bush and needs a cat for rodent problems but she doesn't want to get another. She only had him for about 4 months but that is long enough to fall in love with a pet.

 

It's 12:46. I am in the Library in school. It is about 38o C. I am hot, bord and tired.

And now I think I'm going to get a detention. It was worth it.

 

Day three was tough. Quitting smoking is not easy, or else I would have stopped a long, long time ago. I wish withdrawal was a much more intense but short-lived process---three days of back-breaking pain I could handle. It is the long and continuous stream of days being somewhat unsettled that bends the mind away from reason. In truth, it is going to be years until I react to cigarettes in the same manner in which a non-smoker would, namely disgust. That being the case, I think a few weeks from now I should at least be out of the jaw-clenching stage.

If anyone is reading this and considering whether or not they should smoke, DON'T. It is a horrible blight upon the person who smokes, trapping them and warping their sensibilities.

In addition to not smoking, I am also never going to own shares of MO again. What sick cynicism led me to owning that stock... Well, I am paying for it all now.

 

The crappy trainwreck that is Dungeons and Dragons the movie is on Space... can't resist the stupidity... hey, its free and its a slow night...

Edit: 5 minutes in... I just can't take any more

It's -45C here with the windchill. So much for a happy medium, eh?
