Congrats on the class cancelation Ofelix. Enjoy your extra sleep and maybe you'll wake up with a clear head.

@ Revmaf, what kind of class are you going to teach?

I HAVE A TOOTH AGAIN!! sorry for the shouting, but I've had a hole in my smile for the past six months due to a tooth that was just too decayed to salvage. I had an implant done, and the final step of the process was done today.
Take good care of your teeth, folks; you don't want to go through this. It's expensive too, the total was about $4000 including the extraction of the old tooth.

Didn't your insurance cover any of that? Or was that the cost *after* insurance? :hmm: :rolling:

    @TrueBlueAussie
I have to stay until 3pm, but if I have pracs then I have to stay until 4pm. +_+ I slept at 9pm yesterday and woke up at 5am today to try and get used to it, but I ended up having a nap from 4:40 until 7:00 in the evening haha...

    --

Was waiting with my sister for 40mins at the station for my friend to come this morning. Didn't realise the guy waiting next to us (for almost just as long) was her friend that she was bringing haha...We got to orientation late and missed the lectures so we were like "where is everyone...?". Which also means I didn't get to meet anyone doing my course yet.

The only clubs I saw were Bible reading groups which sucks because at the main campus they've got lots of interesting ones like the Kendo club.. :(

Travelling to uni is going to cost me $7.20 everyday! :aaa: I'm gonna have to go find a job quickly... :(

$7.20!!! That really sucks, it only costs me about $3.90

Also, I know how you feel about the early starts. Tomorrow I have to get up at about 5:30 to get to uni at about 8:30. Which reminds me, I should probably get some sleep.

Only!? Wow! But didn't you say earlier that you have to travel 75mins? How come you don't have to pay more? Do you drive part of the way or something? Oh...hope you sleep well then! :D

Great. Just perfect. We're having a family crisis in which my oldest sister feels like she's been left out on purpose concerning how to manage our family's property and now she's so confrontational that there's no talking sense to her.

So somebody made a mistake, but it wasn't intentional. So IMO there's no reason for her to start making bad decisions that affect our family relations. She's out looking for a fight and jumping into stupid conclusions that really don't help in organizing things now, or in the future. She's taking the view that she's in the right and anyone telling otherwise is against her. That just bugs me big time, because it's almost the least constructive point of view she could possibly take. :bang:

If my years working in public accounting taught me anything it is that there is almost no limit to how irrational and petty family members can be when fighting each other over money or family assets. Time after time I have seen horrible decisions made as a result and usually only the lawyers (and to a lesser degree accountants) benefit. A neutral third party mediator can sometimes help in these kinds of situation but I wouldn't hold my breath.

@Dragonfly, four week overview of Christian spiritual practices, timed, of course, during Lent - Protestants get so nervous when they hear the word "spiritual." Tee-hee. So the first week gets spent trying to bring them around; we'll see how it goes. OTOH, if no one shows up, we already know how it goes!

@Stefanina, double aye to your note about taking care of your teeth. I remember as a child brushing only my front teeth because they were the only ones that showed. Guess what my dental life is like now? :bang:

And Kitrax, I don't have dental insurance, so maybe Stefanina doesn't, either. It's available at high cost through my employer, but the two years I had it I spent almost three times as much on insurance as I would have paying full price at the dentist - for most things it covered only 50% of the cost.

Thunderstorms this morning, more this evening if forecast is right. On the bright side there are several small forest fires south of us that the rain should help put out. On the dark side there may be tornados.

    Ah, spring.

Not with four other teeth I may lose in the next couple of years, I'd be looking pretty bad...

Insurance, what's that? I'm a 33 year old college student that works a part time job. No insurance through work, and I don't work enough hours to qualify for the county's working poor insurance program.(it doesn't provide dental, anyway.) I'm having to eat the cost myself, although my dentist is letting me make payments.

I can imagine. I can send you a PM to a website for a toothpaste that helps rebuild enamel, if you'd like.

Most of my dental problems stem from a birth defect caused by toxemia during mom's pregnancy with me. My teeth do not have enough enamel to protect them, and I was born too early for tooth sealing...LOL
I will probably effectively lose all my bicuspids and molars before I'm 50...

Got my new glasses today, and the new left lens makes my vision very weird, and slanted. It is a bit nausifying!

I was in my first group last night on WOW, and I accidently had bad ediquite. A greenie came up and this thingy flashed on my screen, and I didn't know what it was or what to do with it, and kindof clicked the greed button. I said sorry, but I am on a trial thingy and I couldn't even give to any one. They were pretty cool about it seeing how I am a noob.

Mom and Dad are still alive and kicking. Mom gets chemo 5 days a week, to which my brother or sister drives her. She has 2 tattoos (old woman skin+tattoos=eeewwww!) for how far the chemo needs to go. Dad has had his activities curtailed: no mowing and no snowblowing. Those old ladies (90+ y/o) he did those 2 things will be out of luck. Also, no driving for 6 months. At least they live 1 block from a Dollar and Casey's General Stores.
