Now that I've completed my longterm goal in RS, I don't mind sharing computers with people. :)

    Happy B-Day Micky Dolenz!

I turned the job down because I decided that I wanted to do something different. I have had enough audit work, at least for the time being. The other jobs I applied to are in accounting policy groups.

    JSBB,
our bosses mantra is that our manhours put together are just too expensive. No reference to performance or salaries. They handle it by cutting our hours, which is IMO worse that gutting the salaries because we are supposed to do the same work in less time, and still effectively get paid less. So to injury we get insult in form of predictable accusations to be 'behind schedule' or 'slow'.

Yeah that does suck. At least with us they are just posturing so that they can get away with not giving us raises - although that effectively means that it is a pay cut of whatever % the inflation rate is running these days.

@Cuchulainn - ROFL. I wish they'd had a candidate here and I would have voted for him

Shock result for our district - both Sinn Fein councillors got in. But not the one everybody was tipping to get it

If you like marxist thugs, Sinn Féin are a great party to vote in.

I found this link on the news page of my company's website. How is this for full service banking? I was ALMOST expecting to see them list that we would send someone over to wipe your ass for you. I would hate to see the service charge rates on those accounts.

Back from London - I had a good time, I guess, but we were busy all day long every day we were there. Shows went well... but yeah, I've realized I don't enjoy anything anymore/ I don't want to do anything anymore.

I just shaved it feels weird to be beardless, meh It'll grow back if I ever felt the desire. It's not like it's permanent, one way or another.

    What an amazing thing!

Saber, if this kind of feeling persists for a long time, you may want to talk to somebody about it. It doesn't sound good to me.

Well, last night was okay. Came off of a relatively okay shift at work, and went over to a friend's house for Thursday D&D night (not Drunk & Disorderly), t'was a good run.
I really threw the PCs a curve ball when a considerably powerful enemy that they had previously killed was seen alive and well - they weren't happy.

Oh...and I forced an alignment shift on a Paladin! Yay! DM'ing is fun. Whilst on the subject, I brought my female room-mate along. After many (tired and repeated) jokes about her gender she managed to get into it. I'm pretty sure she had fun.

On other news, I finally got around to buying Promise of the Witch King.
