    The University of Sydney. -_- Cause I'm at the tiny campus (that is conveniently moving to the nice main campus the year after I graduate -or so I've heard). Plus since there's nothing on campus, the sole bookstore and I-Point place have a monopoly on the things you need to get. That's why they get to charge higher prices. +_+ I mean, the CPR course they offer is like $95 whereas if you do it like at the Red Cross, it only costs somewhere between $50-$70.

    I'm not sure if we're playing basketball tommorow..it'll probably only be just my friend and I since no-one else can make it. The thing is, my friend doesn't know how long she can borrow the car for. Man, if only I knew how to drive... T.TT

    My first election is coming up this Saturday..The TV has been flooded with campaigns all week. Not like they can change my mind though.

    While playing Civ 2, it takes me 10 minutes to move my settler 1 square.

    To those who gave me advice about my computer: PC Medic says the graphics card is frozen, possible my power supply and mother board are dead, too.

    Well, I'm still stuck with the temporary filling from the root canal last Friday. it seems I'm in too much pain, and the root canal may need to be worked on again. My dentist doesn't want to waste the time putting in the permanent filling and making the impressions for the crown until he's sure the root canal is stable.

    I'm ready for this dental stuff to be over with.

    BS? No way... if the OS gets f***** up, just destroy the system partition and reinstall - trust me when you're tired of reinstalling games, partitioned drives will do the trick. Games will work after reinstalling Winblows, without needing a reinstall.

    :skeptic: Explain why it takes 10 minutes for my settler to move 1 space, DotW. The only thing up with the computer I use to play Civ 2 is its drive is partitioned. It's only a year old.

    PC Medic called. My power supply was the other problem. I wonder what they do with the broken parts? Skeet shooting behind the store? :hmm:

    File fragmentation comes to mind. A fragmented partition can seriously hurt performance. Lack of memory and constant writing on swap space can also seriously slow down gaming performances. Other than that... malware also sucks performances down... the causes can be broad, dear marilith.
