Kuemper, late, but hope your mom's better.

More rain, cool temps, but - yesterday I saw TEN - count 'em, ten - male rose-breasted grosbeaks all at once! They migrate through at this time of year and are gorgeous birds.

    Working, back to it.

[IMG] Ofelix, not at all... SP just gets a slightly higher percentage there. Anything that anyone buys at Amazon via a link from SP will bring SP a commission. It's as easy as clicking the appropriate Amazon link on top the boards here and going shopping. That way you get to support SP at no cost to yourself whatsoever.

To emphasize further, *anything* whatsoever that Amazon sells can bring SP a commission. All that it takes if the item you want is not listed on SP is that you enter Amazon via a link on SP and then add it to your cart. This page has more information on that: http://www.sorcerers.net/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?/topic/18/666.html

    jaded,
indeed, I strive to be a 'good cook' rather than a reckless one.

So, while my chili is hot, as chilis are supposed to be, and while my horseraddish sauce is hot, as horseraddish (or mustard) is supposed to be - I aim in making them edible. There is no point in cooking food that 75% of the targeted, err, eaters will refuse as.... corrosive, toxic waste? That said, my über-chili was an accident. Really. Still, the bad rep sticks, and seemingly makes for a great conversation item :shake:

I've got two weeks of Random Babbling to be read to catch up. Not to mention about all that's been going on in elsewhere in BoM.

So I'll know what I'll spend my time on for the most of the next week. Silly me. :shake:

8 hours until I have to get up, 10 hours until I have to be at church, 16 hours until I get home. So much for the Day of Rest...

Five hours forty five minutes till mass starts. Then a trip to dad's followed by an outing with friends. Yuppee. I'm going to have little blood in my caffeine system tomorrow, it seems. On the other hand, it looks like I did manage to do 6 KB of text for my thesis today.

It snowed today. I thought it was the mice in the walls, but nope! It was sleety snow bits against the side of the house.

Work becomes a funny looking word after seeing it that many times.
