haha! A running joke in South Africa is that the anthem has been changed to:

    "Hello darkness, my old friend"
"Nice to speak to you again"

Not sure of the second line, but its a joke on the recent electricity service (which is still nothing compared to zimbabwe which has mandatory blackouts every day the whole day except for a few hours at night. so no gamers in Zim!)

You can keep that "Day of the Tentacle". I don't want anything to do with your second rate PC games. Give me half-life and c&c any day.

Work day's over! According to Dragonfly's new definition of a workweek I only have 2 more days 'till Saturday. I don't think I'll be playing "Day of the Tentacle" come the weekend, though.

If you want a wicked sex game play the old text adventure "Leather Goddesses of Phoebos" (I think thats how you spell it) :p

I have about 50 text adventures (including Zork) on my computer and have yet to complete any of them, they're all too hard although I can get pretty far on some, Uncle Zebulons Will for instance...but I got stuck on that :(

I only said it sounded like a pornographic game, not that it was . And seriously, we don't need much of an imagination with that title.

I remember playing those text adventures when they were first out. I even bought a book on how to do it and started making my own.

As far as completing them I did manage to complete one about a pirate island. The rest were too hard.

Note to self and others: do not read stories/histories in manual when you've already started playing the game. Did that yesterday with the Warcraft 3 manual, and I knew instantly that Arthas was going to
