I'm ready to strangle someone. Namely my ex husband. He tossed me off because I didn't have a baby on demand, and now he's sending me pics of his new baby?! Is he really that clueless?!!!!
Maybe I'll send the poor kid a sympathy card when she's old enough to understand.
Add to that the fact that I really do want children, but I doubt I'll ever find a man worth having kids with. I expected to be the stay at home mom of a pair of toddlers by now, and the fact that I'm not has me incredibly depressed.
I think I'll fume some more while I make creative plots for his demise.

[IMG] there can be only one 'the god'.

as for getting a blackbelt at 13 keneth (just one 'n'?) of the darkforest... that means that you obviously didn't practice the same style as me (wu shu kwan kung fu). blackbelts do not hold the same value between different martial arts! i guarantee that i could kick the crap out of any 'newly-crowned' blackbelt from styles that implement fighting restrictions/rules. unless you are graded irrespective of your age (i.e. you would've had to fight ultra-fit 20-30 year olds and not get beaten-up) that belt will only have value as a 'junior blackbelt' (several westernised japanese styles do that).

not a big deal? you try going 2 minutes against 2 other brownbelts at the same time! :thumb:

I liked karate at first and got to be the teacher later which is also not that bad. I was the best in my class and no one ever wanted to fight me. But the reason I quit was because I had no money and because I hated the god damned rules. I hit a guy in his *grumble* and I was disqualified from the tournament. It's not like I did it on purpose (yeah right  , I hated that guy ;) ). Now I decided to go training again (but no more karate for me  ) I'll be training kung fu or kick-boxing or tae-kwon-do (there are rules but at least you can freely hit somebody) or something similar.

This is not spamming. I am merely warming up :shake: .

/me stretches my fingers and starts typing... |Yes? *you hear a distant voice* OK.| ...and goes to lunch :D

yeh, my instructor (5th degree), who's a brilliant fighter got disqualified from a tournament for hitting someone's ear. methinks foulplay, as the guy was the defending champion and practiced the style of the tournament organisers.

in my style virtually all moves are allowed when we spar- including hits to the *grumble*. basically, if you don't understand the attack, how can you know how to defend against it? besides, if you're any good, you shouldn't being getting hit there anyway. the only thing not allowed is side-kicks to the knee, for obvious reasons.

don't do tae kwon do- kicks to the lower body are prohibited, so you get used to keeping your guard high and are more likely to be open to attacks to the solar plexus and sweeps. don't do american-style kickboxing, that's just a pale imitation of the real thing (kung fu means 'timing', but the closest translation is 'chinese kickboxing'). if you want to be a really good fighter and nothing else, then thai kickboxing is ideal. obviously i'm biased and would suggest kung fu (any style which includes both northern and southern techniques is good).

Then what are you waiting for Z? Share with us. Did something good happen or are you just feeling happier?

Thanks for the advice the god. I think I'll try that one. Maybe.

I was going to the club called the 'Free fighting club' (I hope I translated it correctly) about a year or two back where we were only following some of the basic rules like no hits to the *grumble* and no strangling (well at least not so much that he dies :shake: ). The club unfortunately went down last year.

    *cough* I  spam *cough*

And it's my mother's birthday in a few days. Any ideas for the present?

[IMG] I remember everyone I meet - even if I see them for a couple of seconds on a street - I remember them - same on games and everything

But no-one seems to remember me, or hardly do. People from first school don't really remember me, nor do people from my middle school :wail: Why must I be cursed with selective memory?
