Indeed they are, Daie, indeed they are.

    Rhapsody?
    :toofar:
    Rhapsody of Fire!

I wouldn't have bothered commenting, except that the name change was silly enough to be chuckled at whenever Rhapsody werre mentioned.

What made it even better was Nanowar mocking them afterwards.

    *Ahem*

    That's Nanowar of Steel now.

A Twist in the Myth is a really good album, I must say.

*EDIT* Now it's no longer past my bedtime, I shall expand a bit. I've been disappointed recently with new music being released (Rhapsody, Dragonforce, among others), but I have to say that once again, Blind Guardian have restored my faith in good music. They are one of very few bands, in my opinion, to have consistently released new, interesting, and overall, pretty amazing albums. I think Turn the Page, Fly and Another Stranger Me are fast becoming my favourites, though the whole album is worth it, something that rarely happens, apart from Bal-Sagoth releases, of course. Having heard the album, I now wish that I had gone to see them in Dublin after all, but at least they are playing Wacken next year.

I am really liking Dark Tranquility's Haven, Projecter, Damage Done, and Character. I haven't listened much to The Gallery or Mind's I, and I don't like Skydancer/of Chaos and Eternal Night, because the production is crappy and unlistenable. But if you look on my last.fm page, you'll see that DT is my top artist...

What?!? BLASPHEMY!!! Skydancer and Of Chaos and Eternal Night are the best DT EVER! None of the recent crap can even dream of coming close to the old stuff!

/me fires up Darkthrone's Under a Funeral Moon to piss off Saber even more with crappy production

Apparently their London show was slightly better than Dublin, though I missed both (damn cost!). Now Wacken next year, if only I can somehow pull that one off...

Sorry DotW, but I just can't listen to the poor production, it bothers me for some reason. Thats why I don't listen to much Pantera, because even that production is not perfect. Its just a pet peeve...

Bah! Who gives a f*** about the production, as long as the music has *soul*? Darkthrone has one of the most horrible sounds ever, yet it remains unbelievably great BM.

As for Pantera... everything after Cowboys (which I seriously disliked) rocks, except Reinventing. But that's another story.

Wow, just listened to Trivium's The Crusade. It is boring at best, and downright crap during most of the album. The drumming was mediocre, and the vocals SUCK. His singing voice is fine, but when he tries to do thrash vocals, he fails. Basically, if you want to hear a bad Metallica rip off, listen to this album. The only thing that sounds like the good ol' Trivium are the solos. But even those flop. Theprp.com has an accurate review (except they think the drumming is alright, I think it sucks).

I just finished listening to the new Hatebreed album... there are a few good songs, but unfortunatly, it continues in the same vein than Rise, which I immensely disliked. I just don't like that technical hardcore crap. F*** technique, bring back brutal hardcore!

What doesn't he mean by that?

I bought the album India, by Xandria, and it is realyl good. Similar to Within Temptation and Leaves' Eyes. I;d recommend it to anyone who likes that kind of thing.
