    Go the library! Libraries rule.

Um, except Bryan Adams was around before Bon Jovi were, so it must be the other way around.

He said he sounds like a cheap ripoff of Bon Jovi... he wasn't talking about whether he was around before or after, just that he sounded like bands that try to copy Bon Jovi.

Thank you Saber! I couldn't care when Brain Adams started his crummy carrer, my point is, his "faster" songs sound like Bon Jovi. Now, I'm not a very big fan of Bon Jovi, but I would much rather listen to his stuff that Brian Adams. :rolling:

My brother's DAMN rap is driving me nuts!!! :flaming: :flaming: :flaming: :flaming: :flaming:

But on the good side, my stereo has more power than his, so it's easy to bury his bull**** rap. RAAAAAARGH! BLACK METAL IST KRIEG!

Haha, second time this page you've said BLACK METAL IST KRIEG! I am looking forward to seeing it on the next page :p

Speaking of germans, are there any other bands out there like Rammstein? Not that I want to listen to them, but I am just wondering.

If there are, I'd give them a listen...that is, if the local libraries have the CDs. Rammstein is great! :rolling:

Sweeet, I just found a metal tv channel, with pure nonstop metal! I don't have Fuse, and I was pissed, but this is all metal, whenever I want! Yay!

My mp3 player is a battery-eater... but I had time to listen to 21 tracks of pure BM, in the latter case, Burzum. RAAAAAAAAARGH! BLACK METAL IST KRIEG!

Methinks I'm gonna take a day off this weekend and spend some time in the woods to resource myself and truly contemplate the beauty of nature. Listening to too much Burzum and Ildjarn has inspired me.

Speaking of Ildjarn, I'm looking to add a few vinyls to my collection, but they are proving difficult to track down. True BM for a true BM dude.

Urotsukidôji is spelled just like it sounds. :hahaerr: Fun bass solo, that.

I just got the expanded editions of Helloween's Master of the Rings and The Time of the Oath. I'd forgotten how good those albums are. Uli Kusch is a hell of a drummer. I can't really put my finger on Andi Deris...at times I think he's great and at times I can't stand him.

I thought I already explained it....

    But, heres one more try...:

Light that smoke, that one for giving up on me
And one just cause they'll kill you sooner than my expectations
To my favorite liar, to my favorite scar (to my favorite scar):
“I could have died with you”
I hope you choke on those words, that kiss, that bottle- I confess
Now ask yourself, yeah, out on the insides, I said I loved you but I lied

Let's play this game called “when you catch fire”
I wouldn't piss to put you out
Stop burning bridges and drive off of them
So I can forget about you

    So bury me in memory
    His smile's your rope
So wrap it tight, around your throat

    On the drive home
Joke about the kid you used to see
    And his jealousy
Breaking hearts has never looked so cool
As when you wrap your car around a tree
Your makeup looks so great next to his teeth (his teeth)

Let's play this game called “when you catch fire”
I wouldn't piss to put you out
Stop burning bridges and drive off of them
So I can forget about you

    So bury me in memory
    His smile's your rope
So wrap it tight, around your throat

    So bury me in memory
    His smile's your rope
So wrap it tight, around your throat

    So bury me in memory
    Around your throat

    Tell me that isn't Emo...

Or, if you prefer, one of their more famous songs (Sugar We're Going Down Swinging):

Am I more than you bargained for yet
I've been dying to tell you anything you want to hear
Cause that's just who I am this week
Lie in the grass, next to the mausoleum
I'm just a notch in your bedpost
But you're just a line in a song
(A notch in your bedpost, but you're just a line in a song)

Drop a heart, break a name
We're always sleeping in, and sleeping for the wrong team

We're going down, down in an earlier round
And Sugar, we're going down swinging
I'll be your number one with a bullet
A loaded God complex, cock it and pull it
    [x2]

Is this more than you bargained for yet
Oh don't mind me I'm watching you two from the closet
Wishing to be the friction in your jeans
Isn't it messed up how I'm just dying to be him
I'm just a notch in your bedpost
But you're just a line in a song
(Notch in your bedpost, but you're just a line in a song)

Drop a heart, break a name
We're always sleeping in, and sleeping for the wrong team

We're going down, down in an earlier round
And Sugar, we're going down swinging
I'll be your number one with a bullet
A loaded God complex, cock it and pull it
    [x2]

Down, down in an earlier round
And Sugar, we're going down swinging
I'll be your number one with a bullet
A loaded God complex, cock it and pull it

We're going down, down in an earlier round (Take aim at myself)
And Sugar, we're going down swinging (Take back what you said)
I'll be your number one with a bullet (Take aim at myself)
A loaded God complex, cock it and pull it

We're going down, down (down, down)
    Down, down (down, down)
We're going down, down (down, down)
A loaded God complex, cock it and pull it

We're going down, down in an earlier round (Take aim at myself)
And Sugar, we're going down swinging (Take back what you said)
I'll be your number one with a bullet (Take aim at myself)

I think those lyrics seem like a nice bit of dark humor. I'd have to hear the music to fully judge it.
This brought a grin on my face.

Well, that second one's weaker. If *all* of their stuff is along these lines, it gets weary pretty quick.

Pah, but they're about killing people for love, etc. Crap!

Only a few emo bands are acceptable, like Alkaline Trio or Atreyu.
