Ditto. They're quite the bunch of morons. **** emos too.

I surprisingly prefer Judas Priest with Ripper Owens than with Rob Halford...

They did their first album in both German and in English. I find the German version a lot better.

Yeah, whenever they pull an English song (Stripped), the lyrics and vocals sound too forced... at least their German stuff sounds great to an un-German ear.

And the translations that I've read make some of the songs really poetic, which is nice. Then again, they have some weird-ass songs too.

I need to get some Rammstein albums...

The best part on the movie xXx was the opening Rammstein concert scene. :thumb:

Yay for "real" metal! <insert headbanging smiliey here> :D :rolling:

I think I have the first Linkin park CD somewhere... if i reclal correctly, it wa great for feeling angsty. Might have to give it another go...

I blame xXx for the facact that the song-that-has-aname-i-never-remember-how-to-spell form the start of it is my favorite Rammstein song :p

    Sinner!

Seriously? I can see why Ripper would be better than the stuff in Turbo etc, but compared to Sad Wings or Painkiller? Wow.

I guess he's a decent enough singer, IMO he's just been unlucky to replace two awesomely talented singers (yep, I really liked Barlow).

For the record, I listen to Rammstein also.

In my lovely and shallow manner, I have started to familiarize myself with Gamma Ray. Because Dirk Schlächter =

Yes, I go after the bands that have the hottest members :p

I look like a cross between Varg (with long hair) and Shagrath from Dimmu Borgir.

    Anybody here like Grindcore?

I haven't heard much, but I've heard of bands with interesting names like Pig Destroyer and Cattle Decapitation (to name a few  ).

I've tried listening to grindcore (mostly local bands) but no amount of alcohol makes it enjoyable

Sure do! We did shows with an underground grindcore talent from Levis... those guys kicked some serious butt... now if only I could remember the name of the band...
