    The use of brackets or parentheses can take several forms, such as dashes, commas or brackets. They are usually placed somewhere into a sentence as an alternate into a flow of thought, which is an aside, that can point to alternate meanings from the flow of the topic at hand without directly breaking the flow of the statement. There is really nothing wrong with being "parenthetical," as many well-eductated people use such devices often, even when speaking.

    Why do I have sneezing fits on the most gorgeous of days?
    Why do people insist on feeding the geese when 1) it is illegal and 2) the geese make a big mess?

    Iku-Turso, Hus Puppies are maid from oil and corn flour originally by hunters and fishermen in the south and tossed to the dogs to shut up their yapping Hence "hush puppies"
    CTD = Crash to desktop.

    Biscuits are big fluffy items perfect for eating with gravy or sorghum molasses or even just butter not think crackly thingys. :)

    A note on the snowplough man/woman/guy: When I was in Alnchorage, Alaska many long years ago the snowplough folks drove Volkswagon Beattles. I kid you not, they really did. I swear it on all I hold sacred.

    1+1 doesn't have to equal 2...it could equal 10 if you know binary. :p

    As for snow plows... The private contractors that do driveways, parking lots, and small side streets own their own plow, and work from home...so technically, they're always at work. :p As for the big plows that the local governments own and operate, their drivers are required to stay onsite when a storm is about to blow through. If you're wondering how I know this, the news does a story about this once a year. :D :rolling:

    One outlet for indulging this sort of thing is enough. We don't need another.
