    As you've probably noticed, Sepp has been rapidly advancing in skills/levels. I guess that's what happens when low level characters partake in epic quests with higher level characters fighting powerful opponents. Just in case any of you want justification to RP some increased skills/levels for your characters, here goes, a little late for some of the quests:

    To all characters:

    50,000 Quest XP for returning the Earth's Heart.

    25,000 XP for foes defeated up to now.

    To Delinos and Kelvados:

    15,000 Quest XP for killing Hui-Trey

    To Delphinae:

    15,000 Quest XP for finishing off the Fellowship of the Serpent

    To Jex:

    10,000 Quest XP for discovering that there are foes greater than him, and it is okay to let your friends bail you out.

    To Atten:

    10,000 Quest XP when and if he plants the Seed and starts communicating with the tree.

    Feel free to give your characters what ever else you see fit. We would have had a lot of "+" pings if this had been any of the CRPGs.

    @Felinoid, looks like you were way ahead of me here too, just I didn't see it with this thread back past the 100 days posts.

    Appearance: It is hard to get an accurate description of Ciana for she is covered in cloth from head to toe; the only parts of her skin visible are her eyes, nostrils, lips and fingers. What can be seen of her boots is of soft brown leather with little heel. Her trews are a dark green loose fitting except below the ankle where they tied, and the waist. Her blouse is a sage green in colour with loose sleeves that cuff tightly over the dark green fingerless gloves that she wears. The cloth that masks her neck and head is the same colour as the blouse and tight-fitting. Her final piece of clothing is a laced hooded tunic as dark green as her trews. Cinched about her waist is a belt in a figure-of-eight; attached to the left side is a longsword and the right a quiver of arrows. A baldric crosses from her left shoulder to her right side, attached to the back is a lute and a stout bag to the lower front. On her two middle fingers of her left hand each wears a ring one seems to be twisted ropes of different coloured gold and the other a simple gold band with a gem set in it; in this hand she carries a bow. It is rumoured by the staff of the inn that her hair is no more and her body criss-crossed with scars.

    History: Ciana has little memory of her parents but remembers growing up on the streets of some now long forgotten town; one day a woman stopped and spoke to her and played music for her and showed her to play the music. The woman a bard named Robin asked her if she wanted to learn more; at first wary she realised that Robin did simply her to learn and so she agreed. She was taken to a Bardic college near the kingdom of Mornie her she learnt what it was to be a bard and carried out missions for the college in neighbouring towns and villages. She also found her propensity for magic and was encouraged in this finding that she could follow the paths of the wizard and sorcerer if she wished, for now she followed that of sorcerer. At 23 she felt the need to stretch her wings, Robin now a teacher supported her in this with the admonition that she send all those with ability to the college.
    Thus she left and travelled in the course of this she was captured by a strange mage who tortured her physical body as a seemingly extensive study of pain and its forbearance. Whilst in captivity she heard him talk of capturing 2 brothers who had tried to kill him, but didn’t need them for he had already experimented on Drow.
    One day the mage and most of his servants went somewhere and she managed to escape her cell, outside the cell though weak she found her magic returning but of little use to her in her weakened state. She managed to sneak on the guard and killed him, it was the one who’d burnt her hair off and she felt a dark triumph at killing him, which worried her. Finding her stuff and more she managed to make her escape and left the tower, she’d managed to fashion mask out of a spare blouse to cover her ravaged head. She managed to make it to an Inn where she spent her time eating and sleeping before she found that the brothers were once here as well she needed them and others help to seek revenge.

    [Update 1] Ciana is suffering from a variant of Stockholm Syndrome whihc comes into play when a captive cannot escape and is isolated and threatened with death, but is shown token acts of kindness by the captor. It typically takes about three or four days for the psychological shift to take hold.
    There is a variant of this where a person being tortured sub-consciously accepts the torture and starts to enjoy it and more importantly will enjoy practising torture, with prolonged use/abuse the victim will actually accept and beg for the torture. (As an aside this has actually being videotaped by some serial rapist/killers as pointing out that their action were consensual when obviously they weren’t, no court has yet admitted them as evidence let alone mitigating evidence).
    Ciana’s problem is that her conscious mind and her sub-conscious mind are of disparate feelings and alignment. Her conscious mind has hived off the memories and suppressed conscious knowledge of them. (As Sepp realised earlier they are stored in the diamond on her ring.) Her sub-conscious is changing alignment and it is almost exulting in the memory and senses of the torture, and is starting to influence her conscious mind. And create the disturbances in her aura that Delphinae can see.
    To cure her several things need to happen
    1. She needs to visit the temple of Corellon (her God)
    2. The temple will stabilise her aura and sub-conscious
    3. She has to earn the cure, the temple will tell her how
    4. Once she has earnt the cure (within a specified time-limit) the temple will then help re-integrate her memories and sub-conscious to become a whole person again
    If she fails in her cure or achieving the right to the cure she will almost certainly descend into madness, irrevocably

    Half-giants are tough and strong, but not too nimble

    Description :

    Kongol stands 7?6? feet tall, has very broad muscular frame with a weight on the range of 320-340 lb. He is almost bald with only a thick and long braid of hair (tomahawk style) that goes from front to back and reaching just under his shoulder. He has a tan almost copper skin color, and bears two thin line tattoos on his face of red shade, that cross his eyes from his chicks to the hairline. If you were not drawn in to his face because his tattoos you will notice his big deep black-night eyes.
    He wears a intimidating breastplate that cover his back and shoulders, but show his huge arms and parts of his chest, on his legs he wears some type of dark brown fur from his waist to about his knee, also has a pare of braces of the same material covering must of his lower arm. In addition, in his feet leather boots, but its cover but some sort of metal, covering the tip of the boot and metal rings on the upper part of it.

    Items/Weapons :

    The very first thing that you notice is this giant great axe; if you were to stand the axe, it will be almost as tall as Kongol. The blade has a special marking that resembles giant text, but you do not understand it. Beside from the axe, he carries a small empty potion case and a medium size bag that looks almost full, both are attached to his fur on the back. In his hand a small band, wrap his middle finger of silver color that Kongol itself can remove or remember where it came from.

    Personality : Chaotic Good (CHA 17)

    Even thought Kongol streak you as a ?angry? person, in actuality he's a very kind, gentle, outgoing and maybe even soft person; because many half-giants were refugees from days of bondage, during which they could pass down few racial traditions, he is quick to pick up the local tastes, morals, customs, and habits of the areas that he visits.

    History :

    Born on a small desert settlement, he did not have very eventful childhood, well that is until his whole settlement was over run and destroyed by an emperor of a near kingdom. Kongol's live was spared by the daughter of the emperor, and is the sole survivor of his family and settlement. On his disgrace, he is trying to bury his memories by traveling and adventuring the land. Are now being many, many years since the incident and he does not have man recollections of the event that had change his live. The only thing that remains of the days on his home is the axe that he carries, as it was actually his now slain brother, which was trying to defend his home. Kongol seeks now a new life, whether that will be adventuring or settling down he does not know.

    Language :

    Half-giants speak Common. He also knows Giant and Ignan.

    Special racial traits :

    Low-Light Vision - Half-giants can see twice as far as a human in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar conditions of poor illumination. He retains the ability to distinguish color and detail under these conditions.
    Fire/Cold Acclimated - Half-giants receive a +2 racial bonus on saving throws against all fire/cold spells and effects. Half-giants are used to enduring extreme temperatures.

    Half-giants are not subject to spells or effects that affect only humanoids, such as ?charm person? or ?dominate person?


    Update: Kongol has level up (Lv.10); also, he no longer has the band on his finger. Kongol has received a new breastplate.

    Elendia's mother was an elven ranger who protected a small patch of woods southeast of the Snowflake Mountains called the Frostwoods. Her father was a human cleric in the service of Tyr from a temple near the woods. From the time she was born Elendia was given freedom to roam the Frostwoods allowing her to spend time with both her father and mother. She was torn between her beliefs in Tyr and her desire to follow her mother's footsteps. One night, the god appeared to her in her dreams telling her to follow her heart where it lead her but to always remember the glory of Tyr. With the dream fresh in her mind she took her vows to the temple of Tyr and said her goodbyes to her father. Later that week she left with on a quest to help her mother track down a group of yaun-ti that had been making a 'nest' in a nearby cave. The two were ambushed as they approached the cave, and after an extended battle her mother forced Elendia to escape while she tried to hold them back. Elendia ran. When she returned to the battleground her mother was nowhere to be seen, but neither were the yaun-ti. Since then she has spent every waking moment hunting down every lead she can to find out her mother's fate.
    Elendia is about 5'6", with shoulder-blade length dark-red hair (from her father). Her complexion is fair like most elves, and her build is slightly larger than most elves but still smaller than most humans. She is confident in herself but has a hard time depending on others.

    Here I will post Halfling/Hin Deities with some notes added by order of Nakia. She has informed me that things written by humans regarding the Hin are seldom correct and never complete. (note: I find it interesting that there are no evil Hin gods. Even the God of Thieves and the God of Death are not evil.)

    1) YONDALLA is the Primary halfling deity.
    Yondalla is also known as The Protector and the Provider, the Nurturing Matriarch, and the Blessed One. (Nakia calls her the Mother or Great Mother)
    Yondalla has two aspects: the Provider and the Protector. As the Provider, she is a goddess of fertility and growing things, of birth and youth. She can make barren things fertile and increase the growing rate of plants and animals to any speed she choses.
    What she can give, she will also take away. With a wave of her hand she can affect creatures by ageing them 10 years, and wither/shrivel a limb or member so that it is useless.
    As Protector, Yondalla wards off evil influences and intrusions (thus her shield symbol) and gives halflings the strength and determination to defend themselves. In this aspect, Yondalla most often uses her illusionist abilities to protect her worshippers.
    Halflings set aside one day a week for worship of Yondalla (this day is called "safeday"), a day which is mostly spent in rest and play. (And feasting)
    Her allies include Chauntea, Corellon Larethian, Helm, Moradin, Torm and Tyr. Her foes are Cyric, Talos and Malar.
    (She only accepts worshipers that are of good or neutral allignment.)

    Appearence: Stocky and muscular Johen is covered by scars all over his face, body and hands from decades of hard work and hard fights. He has black hair and beard that to the shagrin of most dwarfs he keeps it trimmed short. Both streaked with gray as he is getting old. He has dark brown eyes border on black. They have permanent glint to them. He is 4'9 so a little short for a dwarf but weighs in at 220lbs.

    Personality: Happy, but serious. He is a fatherly like figure especially to the younger dwarfs and the many people he has adventured with including Jex. He does not enjoy shying away from a fight.

    Items: Battle rager armor and two mithral battle axes as well as a travel pack. He prefers to travel light as he spends most of his time in the underdark. He has a few magical items including boots of speed (haste), gauntlets of strength, and his axes are both enchanted to be lighter but stronger then normal. That helps with his fighting because if he used a heavier weapon even with the gauntlets he'd be drained for days. He doesn't wear a traditional rager helmet. His helmet doesn't have a spike, its form fitting with ridges just like his armor. It also has a visor he flips over his eyes in a fight. The visor is made from diamond to protect his eyes when he is in close combat.

    History: Born in Mithral hall he's seen many battles. He seen most of the lands and just about all of it from underground. In his youth he was a typical dwarven fighter. Give him an axe and a shield and he will chop knees and heads. But then he met a dwarf named Thibbledorf Pwent who trained him in the art of battle rage. It wasn't until he traveled with a young half drow that he discovered the ability of battle raging with a weapon.

    He left mithral hall in his mid 20's although he always found his way home. He travelled with many adventurers and has experience all kinds of peace and trouble.

    Now he is used as an emmissionary between the dwarven kingdoms mostly serving King Bruenor of Mithral Hall. He spends most of his time in the underdark running between the kingdoms delivering news and messages. He was given the Boots of Speed by Bruenors court as a reward for his service and to aid him in his treks.

    His fighting style is strange he uses both the skills of a battle rager and two weapon fighting. He has the respect of dwarfs because of his fighting prowess. His fights are often brutal and short and it doesn't matter the foes.

    He's heard rumors of Jex being nearby and was ranted special release by Bruenor to reunite with his old friend. He is excited at the possible reunion. He doesn't know about Jex's death.

    I've decided to post some information about Rosie, although there isn't much. But just in case someone decides to post in her direction.

    Rosie (full name will be introduced later)

    Class

    Unknown, although possesses magical and roguelike abilities.

    Age

    Unknown, but possesses a wisdom you'd expect from an octagenarian :D

    Race

    Unknown

    So, not a lot of information there. Here's the more substantial part.

    Appearance

    Rosie appears to be roughly the size of a halfling child, and is often mistaken for one. Her eyes are slightly larger than the average child, a bright green, almost emerald color. They sometimes change colors although. She has long, scraggly reddish hair, hence the nickname Rosie. Her ears are pointed and long. Her face is wide and stout.

    The body is thin and frail-looking. She looks as though she might fall over from the size of her head. Although frail-looking, she is agile, well-balanced and flexible, making her very talented in gymnastics. She wears a faded green toga, and has recently acquired a leather belt with pouches and a small dagger attatched. Her smile is wide and full of small white teeth, some more pointed than others.

    I drew a sketch of her in math class, I might just scan it in and post it. :p

    Abilities & Personality

    Rosie possesses several magic powers, most of which we do not know. She has shown wizardly power as well as clerical. She can heal, and use most force spells.

    She can also sing, and has magical properties in her singing. She is always smiling almost, unless someone she loves is in pain or is suffering. Even if someone is, she usually tries to ignore it. She is very emotional. She immediately befriends those who show her kindness and compassion.

    Her roguish abilities include pick-pocketing and stealth. She can also use many magical items, and can understand many languages. She can read feelings and emotions of others well.

    Ah, Elwithral, I thought she was the size of halfling adult at least about Nakia's height 89cm. A halfling child? You could carry her around in your pocket. :)

    Okay, perhaps not that small. But.. here take a look at this , this, and this.

    This is Midna from the new Zelda game for Wii. Minus the no clothes, evil looking magical hat, and miscolored skin, this is a base of Rosie. The eyes and head. Body size. And if you look at the last picture, Delinos would be about a head taller than the wolf and Midna together.

    I'll get that picture I drew up here soon. So to sum it up, she's a bit shorter than my waist, but taller than my knees.
