A note regarding Ciana and the halflings for RPing. I figure the comrades have kept silent about how Nakia was killed. Just said it was in a battle. So the halflings, another than than the druids and maybe Nakia's parents don't know that Ciana dealt the fatal blow. They continue to stand in awe of Ciana's bardic powers and consider her one of the saviors of the Burrow.

 

I figured that which is why I removed her to the forest, partially, also to enable Perim or Del to 'let it slip' for RP purposes if they wanted to.

 

Perim might but I don't see much point to it. We should move on. I hope Scot posts very soon. If not I have a quest that ties in with Benan's post. But am waiting for Scot's quest.

By the way, Benan, that was a very nice post regarding the Hin/halflings.

And Nakia will greet Ciana warmly with love and understanding especially since now she sees with other-worldly eyes. (If you remember Nakia always thought Ciana was'nt truly human.)

 

Um, for the purposes of you guys moving on, Maorn and Daie won't be with the group. They;re sat just outside the Burrow, talking quietly, under the tree that Daie slept under a few days back.

Maron and/or Daie will catch up later.

 

I haven't decided yet who the woman that spoke to Ciana and Kelvados is, originally I had planned on it being Sheela, but am inclined not to now. It is most likely that it is someone close to Ciana who obseved Sheela talking to Kelvados, and adopted some mannerisms.

As for Ciana herself she is trying to hold herself together and not let the monster grip her again, the closest she will come is when another Merc group turn up or when her distant cousin comes to play. Depending of course on the needling she'd get from the 'deranged' grieving Del

Daie, the original Nakia isn't old enough to be a grandma. I'm the fake. The real Nakia is the one I role play. Actually she tells me what to post. What is the literary term, editor? Right now she is sitting here carrying on about why did she come back from the dead to just sit around contemplating her navel under the spreading oak, beech, willow trees.

 

I'd like to get going but everytime we come close we have another personal growth post and that has to be dealt with.

Since no-one answered, I didn't have any NPC's join us

So if we're light on clerical help don't blame me, blame Mr. I-have-the-monopoly-on-elven-clerics

Seriously if we need a couple of Clerical NPC's it would be easy to tag them to Ciana as they are already there helping the Hin re-build after the battle, and she is a favoured daughter of Corellon.

I would suggest at most 2, maybe only one if Maron is joining us at some point.

Too many NPC's get confusing. I keep forgetting about poor Perim.

 

I'll have some join in a bit, perhaps somebody to take Maron's mind off that flighty Daie.

 

In a series of dreams Ciana is going to find out who she is, and why somebody wants to kill her. Delphinae may see a moment for her revenge in there as well

 

I know real life often interferes with important things like RPing. but what is happening to our quest to the Underdark?

We need to hear from Scot even if it is a post in the Absence Thread. I can always sidetrack us to my quest idea which ties in with the dwarfs being attacked that Benan mentioned. And if Scot isn't able to post and gives permission I could fit Sepp into the quest.

Has anyone heard from Scot? He hasn't posted for a week and that was a very short one.

 

I'm confused by the totally lack of continuity. One minute were happily walking through the trial the next Ciana is having dreams. There is no steady flow.
