Ah...I didn't know you two fooled around in the past. I very rarely poke my head in this thread, so I haven't been able to keep up on your sexual escapades...

 

Fooled around... interesting choice of words

She was up for it, she made her move, I was up for it, and it just happened. Both of us had a good time and that's all that matters. /whips out flame suit in case chev decides to post here

Things have been cleared up with my gf. She came over yesterday, and we wrapped things up regarding this incident. She told me she had been badly hurted in the past (including being cheated on), so now that I know that, I understand why she reacted this way. Having been cheated on many times myself, I know how bad it feels, and I promised that I'd call it quits with her instead of jumping the fence, and she told me she would do the same.

We spent the evening together yesterday, and I'm looking forward to the weekend to spend some more time with her. It's been aeons since a woman made me feel the way she does, and I'm loving every single second of it.

 

Only in movies and in DotW's life.

Oh hell yeah it does... but enjoyable as it was (off the charts too, let me tell ya), this fooling around is a thing of the past -- things are serious with my gf now. I'm not in a hurry to get intimate with her -- we've discussed the topic and I told her this is hers to decide and she'll have zero pressure from me -- it'll happen when it'll happen. It can happen in a few weeks, months, years, or not at all... this dimension of love isn't mandatory.

 

Thanks, Barmy, but I don't really know if I want that. It's the old conflict between friendship and relationship.

 

Hmm, I am clearly developing a crush on that colleague of mine, hummingbird. She appears to like me, too. Prospects are that we date next week, and I'm pretty happy about it. And I know for certain that she is single.

Where it will start getting tricky is that it will be about the first opportunity for the two of us to talk in private, and while I am eloquent, love matters are the point where my eloquence leaves me. Ack, wish me luck.

And Fabius, good luck. Heed Barmy's advice. It is sound.

 

You're all going to think Im totally crazy after my last announcement, but after long and upsetting discussions and a great deal of heartache and self-destruction, He's not leaving! He realised almost too late that living like a kid just didn't compare to the life we've made together, and it took almost losing me to make him realise it. My life is worth living again!
