    Dave, I can sympathize. There's seven hundred miles between me and my boyfriend. I'm in school and he's in the army, so it really makes coordinating visits difficult.
    My best piece of advice is to make sure to communicate. Phone, email, physical letters, however you can, make sure to communicate.

    Long distance? Been there, done that.

    Long distance relationships are very difficult. Stef has pretty much nailed it on the head, though - it's vital to remain in contact by any mean you can. If the two of you truly believe in it, I'm sure it will work out just fine.

    I wish you more luck than I had with LD, though.

    As for myself... the war with Jezebel's over. I didn't needed to extract revenge, as she got caught into her own web and caused her own downfall.

    Good riddance, Jezebel.

    It figures after making that last post, my current relationship blew up in a big way.
    Losing him as my boyfriend is bad enough, but I'm finding out things that are making me lose respect for him as a friend.
    I'm not overly fond of the opposite sex right now.

    Thanks guys, I hope it works out I really do, we talk all the time anyway...my mobile phones inbox is filled with her name and pretty much only her name lol! And we have MSN and various other methods so I'm thinking communication will be atleast easy. Its only 2 months or so until we come home for the christmas holidays...thats not long...right? :p

    Well, spoke to the friend that introduced us, and she says that she hasnt discussed me with the girl, she says i shouldnt give up all hope, and that she said no to the 2 invites because she doesnt know me that well.

    Well, that's something. Depends if you're willing to wait out what seems like a long campaign against a conservative foe. (sorry, was reading parts of The Prince ;))

    Bec. shouldn't invites like the ones you've made be seen as opportunities to get to know one another better? I mean, meeting up somewhere on campus or having coffee seem innocuous enough. It's not as if you're asking on her an actual "date" or even for drinks. Or, "you want to watch a movie/DVD at my place?" which over here is basically a euphemism for "you want to make out or something" :D
