You can only upgrade his sword when [snip].

[ToB spoiler removed. Also, the reference was to a ToB mod, nothing happens with the sword in the core expansion.] -Tal

It would be pretty cool to get Sarevok's armor, just for aesthetic purposes. Could I use shadowkeeper to change to look of armor to look like it? Or is there a mod out there? I'm almost 100 percent positive it isn't available in the regular game, and the twisted rune has nothing to do with that.

Errr.. I'm not sure if this is the Shadowkeeper, but in on of the Editors through the BG-series there is an option where you may LOOK like Sarevok, a cow, a bandit, or any other character in the game. But you don't get any of their abilities, you just look like them. If that's interesting, you should try to look for it. Not as good as the real thing I guess, but imagine how scary you will look.. :D

You can only change your avatar to look like Sarevok, but completely. Sarevok in full armour is just one animated sprite, there is no Sarevok with different armour, or different weapon, or anything. Just the same Sarevok avatar you always see in the game. So the armour can't be taken off and put on by a different character, because it does not exist separately.
