    [​IMG] the best way to kill a shadow dragon is in 3 simple step (the dragon should be dead after step 2.

    1. use Yoshimo or any bounty hunter to lay at least 6 or more trap (the more the better). this must be done before engaging combat or conversation with the dragon. there is a small chance the dragon will die from the trap.

    2. use the sword daystar or any light of day spell on the shadow dragon. (the combanation of trap and spells should kill the dragon).

    3. if the dragon is still alive after all this, then just attack him with every you got and hope for the best.

    [​IMG] I just killed the shadow dragon and I was ROTFLMAO :) It was like that:

    I made Nalia (lvl-10 mage) cast:
    1. lower contingency spell (double magic missile to defeat the dragon´s multi-layer protection (like ironskin IIRC)
    2. contingency spell (from scroll) with (a) magic missile, (b) chromatic orb and (c) POLYMORPH

    It *WORKED* - the shadow dragon polymorphed into a shadow squirrel still able to bounce my party around - I had to think of Monty Python´s Holy Grail :D

    Anyway, under constant archer fire and Donaldus and Minsc´s melee attacks it was finally killed by Jaheira with sling of Everard with sunstones :D
