    That is kinda the point goddy. You cannot compare them. A footballer would die after 20 minutes of basketball just as MJ or any basketball player would drop dead from all the running. Differet sets of muscles, different requirements.

    Anyway basketball is cool - because who is the European champion?

    Football and soccer are different sports, regardless of what joacqin and Arabwel say.

    Wanna know how I can tell?

    Because football is an awesome sport, and soccer is a horrible waste of a Saturday that my parents subjected me to when I was 7.

    Football is indeed an awesome sport.

    Soccer does not exist.

    American football (that rugby-like thing) is not actually a sport, it is a bunch of wussies, each in 20 kg of armor, slamming into one another. There is more skill required in skipping rope.

    Hmmm....given my choice between soccer (football) and basketball I'd take....Hockey!!

    Basketball and soccer are fun to play, but I just can't get into them as a spectator. Hockey is by far the better sport :)

    I would have to say basketball. Only becuase soccer/football is kind of boring to watch, but is really fun to play. Basketball is someimtes fun to watch and is fun to play.

    Given the choice I would pick soccer. Though it is not my favorite I hold disdane for any sport where "flopping" is encouraged. "Servival of the fittest."

    cricket, rugby, darts are not sports, neither is sex; soccer is football (and is an okay sport).

    Basketball is best

    English people are stupid. Especially members of mensa.
