[IMG] My friend is soloing with an elven fighter/mage. He says its pretty tough because of the low HP. He says he uses bows a lot and relies heavily on cannonfodder, mainly summoning and charm spells.

    As an aside:
ObLiViOn, read the FAQ's regarding the board rules or Taluntain's post on the Whatnots section about it. It doesn't take long really. :)

Instead of posting one message after the other, use the Edit feature. :)

Okay guys, I've already told him about the rules. So please kind folks, put away those flamethrowers + 5 :D

Unless of course, the Mods have other ideas... :mommy:

[IMG] Hehe eveningdrive, don't worry no one should flame Oblivion as that was back last November before double posting was eliminated and edit became a do or die thing

  3. I was wondering wich level to Dual Class the Kensai to mage? Should I do it at 12 as usual or should I wait to get a little more spells? I'm right now playing with the exp cap removed so high level won't be a problem. Maybe I should remove the cap? Anyway, I just wanted to know the best level to dual on.

[IMG] yeah, kensai mages may be good, but i have a fighter/cleric half orc with all good spells and an ac of -9!!! and hes only 12th lv. each way! ive only just got up to aran linvale on this one. hes such a versatile fighter (flail of ages, fortress shield, prof. in both) and has loads of priest spells to combat most mages.

a)You say the Kensai to mage?
    b) But also say wait untill you get more spells?

    hmmm.

    if a) then
Wait untill 13th level Kensai. You get an extra 1/2 attack

    if b) then

I would say wait at least till you have at least 6th level spells and then dual to KEnsai. But I really don't know how your HP status would make you a mighty adventurer. I would at least go for a con of 16.

EDITED HERE: That just show evening drive's kind nature Big B! Helping people beyond any comprehendable time gaps. :)
