    Mmmh.. So this turns out to be pretty tough. Sorry, but with you guys I just can't tell. You seem to know the strangest lyrics sometimes. ;)

    It's funk from 1972.
    Song is about a thing he's craving, which is also innuendo for marijuana. Later in the song he gives up searching ("vegetable men on strike") and decides to get something else. That's when 1 word in the refrain is changed to a synonym for women/prostitutes. He can't find them either. ("Poultry men on strike")

    Ehh... I tried to find the lyrics myself and couldn't find them anywhere. So I guess this might be pretty obscure and most likely nobody ever heard (about) the song. If you want to, here it is.

    Oh good lord. If this really needs a hint I'm quitting this game. I stopped posting any new songs, anything outside of the classic rock genre and now this. (Sorry for the rant, MON, it wasn't you in particular.)

    OK, hintage. Fine. Be that way. It's perhaps the most famous rock group of all time. If not the most famous, certainly in the top five, no questions asked. It's a song off an album, but that album does not share the song's name. In fact, the name of the album is the name of another song by this band, but that song is on an entirely different album. Further, the name of the song in question is also the name of a film and the name of the soundtrack of the film.

    If that won't do it, I declare the game dead and over.
