:D :thumb: I was hoping someone else on the boards knew the wonders of Moxy Fruvöus.

    And on to the game:

    Satisfaction
    came in the chain reaction
    I couldn't get enough
    So I had to self-destruct

Disco Inferno - The Trammps or Cyndi Lauper. Did the Bee Gees sing a version, too? :hmm:

I think this is a popular cover song. I know only the B-G version.

@Undertaker: aw, man - I woulda given it to ya if you'd just said the title...I had to dig around and check this out; according to the Bee Gee Fan Club site they never covered the song. :(

I, thus, have to give it to Kuemper. I was thinking of Cyndi Lauper's remake, TBH, but the original woulda done it, or anyone else who'd covered it...

(Not 50 cent, tho - he remade the song - diff lyrics...it's amazing the stuff you pick up when digging around on the web :heh: )

I think my Dad's got a Tina Turner CD with a version of it on, too. God, that brings back painful memories of long car journeys with no control of the stereo...

I'm pretty sure I've heard B-G version  (this voice it's hard to mistake for someone else)
Of course I could be wrong (but if it's metal then I'm never wrong :D :p )

Hmmmm...I've just checked - the Trammps original version of DI was on the Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack - though four black americans don't sound that much like three white australians... :(

BAH - you got the song title; which is really all I was looking for (knew it had been covers six ways from sunday) go for it Undertaker!

I KNEW IT! :D The board is mine! :p Oh the joy!
Ashes and promises share a bond
    Through the winds of change
    Words are blown away
    When visions that should be
    Are tattooed in your mind
    The power to let go
    Is sometimes hard to find

Raging. Well, looks like it's my go, then. How about:

We're on our way to a prison in space,
Our last flight, the final phase.

Not quite. Think late 70's/early 80's science fiction series.

Hmm, a hint you say? Well, Kuemper was almost right, it is about Blake 7. It's not the theme tune though, since it was only written about 5 years ago.

I shall expand the quote, as well:

The song has several singers in it, one of whom is an American from a fairly well known prog metal band.

So what is this song? And maybe you'll post another quote.
