    Ah. It seems I have unintentionally mislead you. The word isn't "English", it's "Anglisc". It's a fairly big hint, at least if you know what it means. They do, in fact, hail from the bottom bit of Britain.

    For us stupid people, wtf does Anglisc mean? Does it refer to Anglos and Saxons or is it some obscure nickname for Welsh/Wales? :confused: And I can't find it in any of the book dictionaries or encyclopedias at home and checking online is considered cheating.

    Well, Anglisc sounds like Old English for... English. And I don't see how a band can be not English, yet "hail from the bottom bit of Britain." As the bottom bit of Britain is basically Southern England. Unless you're counting the Cornish as separate, but I can't for the life of me think of any Cornish bands. :confused:

    Anglisc is indeed Old English for English, which is a hint as to the band, since it's Forefather, the Anglo-Saxon metal band. The song is "When Our England Died", and it's about Hastings. New quote, then. I'll make it easy.
