I say we have a meeting during the World Cup in Germany. I know I've promised Barmy and Fara to share a beer with them each, at least.

Yup you're the closest to me, but however I'm actualy in *laval* which is about ten minutes walk from Montréal.

Well if I have money and lotsa of free time (Which frankly I don't) I'd come!

 

Another fellow Canadian here, not exactly frequently ont eh boards but still around. Also in the Ontario area, plus I go to Québec quite often to visit family, so I could possibly meet up with DoTW or Ofelix.

 

Well if this meeting ever happens and i manage to get some time off from my job (which is very difficult sadly), i would really love to meet some of the crazy people who post here.
Chev is my favourite and Tal, heck anyone i would like to meet.
BTW i am planning to go to Amsterdam in September or October.

Is there any Dutchman Sper here?

And of course whoever comes to Greece is welcomed to pm me and arrange a meeting

 

I don't want to meet anyone and I doubt anyone would actually like me in person, so meh.

 

There's quite a few people in Great Britain. IRRC there's Daie d'Malkin, Sarevok, Barms and Septic Yogurt in England, then there's Kilted Crusader, Dalveen, Mad Haggis, Warrior of the World and me in Scotland. That's ten people, more than enough for a small convention! I'm sure there are many people I overlooked or who have listed something odd as their location. It would be fun if we all got together, maybe to watch the world cup while drinking beer

And there's Arifirh (though he's been absent for a while) and (IIRC) Will & Alavin. And I've probably forgotten some folks.

 

If all goes well, sometime much later this year I will be touring the UK, intending to sofa-hop... so I expect to see a lot of my fellow SPers

I was thinking somewhere around Dortmund, cause that's where most of the games are going to be played. And, since both USA and England meet Sweden during the group stage, I'm looking forward to meeting people such as Aldeth and Barmy.

 

Well, I'm in Holland... And I could probably travel to somewhere in Europe if this thing gets off the road.
Anyhow, any of the SPers who are in/coming to Holland and would look to go get a few beers, drop me a PM or somesuch.

Damn, DS, I was sure Ziad had already mentioned you, but it appears not. How on Earth I managed to forget you & Shell when Will, Alavin and Arifirh have posted about twice between them in the last 3 months, I have no idea. Maybe I should take some more brain pills...

Okay, it's not hugely impressive. But I don't care.

A big Brit meet would be fun. I can mock the uncouth youngsters of today (despite being younger than most) with their bitters, while I sip my G&Ts with style, class and sophistication.
