    Combat Brute (which requires improved sunder) was one of my intentions -- I particularily like the sundering cleave option -- smash the bugger's weapon, then take another attack. There's another feat I found on crystalkeep.com -- IIRC it's called resounding blow or something, and when you sunder a shield or armor*, you deal the same amount of damage to the wielder. Cool.

    As for my character whipping butt, well, a gestalt character would likely whip any single class character, but regardless, my fellow has a serious flaw -- all one has to do is get out of his range, and he's SCREWED! I have him wearing Mountain Plate, and he has no charging or movement feats. Someone with as simple a feat as spring attack would be a major challenge for my banger.

    I was originally going to go for a maul, but since I never intended to wield it one handed, once I got hold of a friend's copy of Races of Stone, I switched to the Goliath Greathammer.

    *according to the PH, you can't sunder armor worn by another character, but the description on crystalkeep mentions sundering armor. Weird.
