I have cmorgan's list, yes, but Xan v6 isn't on the list. The only Xan mods on the list are Xan's BG1 Alternate Soundset and Xan's BG1 Friendship Talks. Do I just install it where those mods are?

Xan v6 is for BG2, the others is for tutu. Xan is in bg1, the others should be installed to alter his voice (it sounds better) and to give him more to say.

I was told to use Xan v6 for my Tutu game to get the original BG's flaming sword graphic

Doing so now. Thanks, Shaitan, and everyone for bearing with me while I learned more about modding for the BG series.

Thank you for your research - I just used a lot of it to get my own tutu game running. I'm going through with a Kensai, should be interesting at low levels.

Glad my search for the right answers helped you too. I'm going with a wild mage myself.

My only runthrough Tutu was with a Kensai. It's a lot of fun, but you'll die quite a few times @ the earlier levels.

Sorry for the delay nin replying - i have had no time to check SP for awhile.

    To confirm:

    1. Sirine's Call has a minor name error, but no real problems. If you are using BG1NPC v12 Beta3 or older, you may find part of Sirene's Call not working quite correctly - install order to minimize this is posted at that link to G3.

If, on the other hand, you can't wait for a few days (we anticipate a full BG1NPC Project v14 within the next 10 days) then you can always PM me on G3 or SHS and I can send you a link to the pre-release version, just finishing up cosmetic documentation. This version sets the missing variables that allows concurrent use of BG1NPC and Sirine's Call at the same time on the same install .

    2. SCS is a great mod. I am still studying the code - gotta say, this and the upcoming verson for BG2 is some of the most cool stuff ever. And it will kick your but in a good way, without a ton of resistances and invulnerabilities - just good old-fasioned use of poewerful and intelligent scripting. Clean and useful from both a player and a programming perspective - someday i want to be this good.

    3. The Grey Clan is a solid mod I always install; it adds some extremely tough fights, so needs high level parties.

    4. The Xan stuff is still being sorted out for install order, but is a Kulyok mod, so 99% sure it shipped with next to no problems - and if you find one, toss her a note and she fixes stuff fast.

    5. If you are looking for NPCs, in a few days a new release of Gavin is on its way, and I think that having Finch and Gavin on your Tutu install are a good idea if you like NPCs. (Both Gavin and BG1NPC are now Tutu/BGT combined installers, so both sides of the street can play).

    6. No fixpacks are needed on EasyTutu at all. I cannot confirm troubles with the hotfixes; if you did have troubles, please report them to Macready at PPG so he can look at things - on my games, everything works great and nstalls fine.

    7. igi's iiItem mod I like alot; I like some of his other stuff, too, but for just a nice dusting of salt&pepper, plus perhaps a sprig of rosemary, iiItem does not fundamentally change the game while at the same time adding some cool, not-overpowered fun iems in random places. Plus, wicked cool code.

    8. If you can find it, Nythruns L1NPCs allw you to change all sorts of things on your NPCs in huge ways without resorting to Shadowkeeper.

    9. BG2 Tweakpack at G3 is highly recommended for adjusting things on your Tutu game.

Cheers - hope you have fun playing.
