Amulet of Power
This amulet bears the signature enchantments of Conster Damon, an archmage that fell in the Year of the Dracorage (1018DR). The crispness of its etchings may have faded with fire and time, but it still echoes his famous defiant cries: "Your magic denied!" "I will be heard!" "Defeat comes swiftly!" "Take nothing from me!" It has seen much use, and changed hands many times through blood and battle.

See? Only thief and fighter are limited to not using this, Minsc is a ranger, therefore he can use it.

but I tried to put it on minsc and it says:Item unusable or something like that
and does amulet make you cast spells faster or slower? text is so swirly

Thanks guys! The Red Dragon Scale armor and Carsomyr+5 rocks! But something sucks! I can't wear the Amulet of Power so I gave it to Anomen instead. Oh well, I'm now in a strange place trying to escape the Asylum. Slaughtered some kobolds, got a crystal and some more stuff.

P.S: I need a wooden stake!!!

 

you can get it from somewhere in Aslyum. If you can't find it. CLUA it

 

There is one at the Kobold area (with the crystals) iirc. Of course, I might be very wrong.

 

Whatever, found one. I'm now waaay past that area in the place where I must destroy some rebels for some sea creatures. (I'm sort of lost)
The ability to turn into that dark, demonic "Slayer"
is pretty cool. I got out of some tough situations with that.

 

If you use slayer change too much you will die rather horridly
and work for who you like.

 

Ah, the Sahuagin City. One of my favorite areas, though I sometimes wish it could have lasted a little longer. The next part is interesting too (which you're probably up to by now).

 

Yes it is fun and you get naaaaaasty bolt from creatures

 

I killed that Prince and now I'm in the Underdark, trying to retrieve some eggs for Adalon and rip Irenicus' guts out!

 

I recommend this: kill all the drows. that's fun and easy.

 

OK, now the problem is actually FINDING Johnny boy. Help needed! If it helps, I'm in a cave filled with Gauths and Beholders.

 

he's not in the Underdark...... he's outside. and kill beholders. they're worth XP and good items.

 

Are you still in the Beholder cave? The place you need to be to continue Adalon's quest is north of there.

 

kill everything except:gnomes,adalon,duergers.

 

Actually, he is inside. But the chase must go on, you see.

 

where? I've never seen him in underdark...... he was only in ToL

 

He is there in the opening cut scene - the one where he is meeting with the matron mother and chunks the elven prisoners who recognize him and start to call him by name.

If you ask, the duergar also mention having seen him.
