    Does this mean that the gender of V shall finally be revealed? I doubt it. it'll be like the episode of "It's Pat!" when Pat goes to a public restroom. Just before entering, there was a cutaway to a special breaking news announcement saying that Pat's gender would finally be revealed. Then it cut back and the other characters in the skit were laughing that "now we finally know!" and then the skit ended. I'm still bitter about it nearly 20 years later.

    The disintegrate taunt was too good not to be related to the old one. I'm sure V misses the good old days when payback was simply a female dog, not a female black dragon of the mature adult+ category ;) . Actually, considering that it/she cast a spell of 6th level, I would presume at least a very old black (and that would require 3+ sorcerer levels on top of that), possibly ancient or wyrm. Ouchie.

    Well. Most likely, he/she's gonna make a literal deal with the devil (the imp). Just wonder if he/she is going to manage to save his/her kids. Would be interesting to see him/her spiral to the dark side if V isin't able to.
