    "Depends who you ask." he turned and walked away with the rest of the Halflings following closely trying to avoid Liriyens' wrath. She would have to go somewhere soon, unless the guard or someone catches up with her.

    [​IMG] She looked around her now the halflings had gone. She was still in the forest. she looked at her few possessions. Seven gold pieces would be mor ethan enough for a halflings goat. She realised how tired she was and how disorientated she felt. The halfling had said that Arlban was five hours south... but which was was South she couldn't tell.

    She tries to determine direction (searching for moss, direction of shadow, etc.) if possible.

    [​IMG] It is told that moss always grows on the side of the tree nearest the Mountain top... Liriyen felt as if she was surrounded by mountains. There was even the uncommon types of moss here that usually only the rangers, druids and powerful mages encountered. She noticed though that the halflings, though light on their feet, the sheer number had left a small track... there were even a few pony hoofprints by the looks of it. She could probably trace it back a fair way.

    [​IMG] Following the tracks Liriyes concentrates and often looses the tracks momentarily. After an hour or so she finds that the tracks follow along a small dirt track and in the distance the small village of which the halflings may have come from. There is a small field surrounded by fencing being watched by a young Halfling who was lazing in the sun. Perhaps she could ask him about food.

    [​IMG] Liriyen hurries towards the village and over to the halfling. He didn't notice her approach.
    "Excuse me." Liriyen asked, the halfling jumped
    "Argh! Don't come near me! I'll shout!" he stumbled backwards away from her
    "Oh shut up and listen. I want to buy something" The Halfling was slightly pale and he looked around hurredly
    "What and how much for?" Liriyen pointed to a goat, The halfling stood up strait and smirked
    "8 Gold Pieces, or 15 Akerns" Liriyen snarled
    "3 Gold."

    "4"
    "5?"
    "Fine then." Liriyen handed over five gold pieces to the grinning halfling and the halflinh handed her the rope that was the goats lead. Liriyen rolled her eyes and relised she'd have to go somewhere now to DEAL with it.
