    No. Are the Die Hard games not quite simply action games or do I remember them all incorrectly? Besides aren't they mainly console games?

    Rhetorical Question came close enough. Commandos II. The Green Barrett says it in the beginning of the second training mission. It's not really the quote that has sticked to my mind but more the accent Green Barrett has.

    Not Simon The Sorcerer (certainly not 1, but I didn't play no. 2 - there could be an influence there I don't know about)

    It's an adventure - the last one of a long series.

    Here's another one to narrow it down:

    "Violators of Inquisition curfew may be intimidated, incarcerated, lacerated and/or masticated if time permits, and the weather is fine."

    This directly precedes the last quote, btw.

    EDIT: It is Zork: Grand Inquisitor. Go ahead T2Bruno.
