Aikanaro gets it. Guess I could've gone with a less obscure quote, though; was a line from an NPC in Vault 13, used after he listed a horrific event that occured in each year of his life (losing an arm to a tractor, being dropped on his head as a baby, etc, etc.).

 

I guess suitable time has passed for me to invoke the IJ rule, so here goes. Here's one that shouldn't be too hard.


"Bring me all the red pages."


It may not be exact, though I think it is. For some reason, I remember that line above almost all else from the game

EDIT: Okay, maybe this isn't as easy as I thought.


Hint - in this game you interact with, I believe, exactly three other characters.

umm i dont beleive that its exact....after i couldnt figure it out i googled it and this post is the only one that had that exact phrase...wouldnt have posted about it since i googled, but u might wanna check the exact phrasing of it.

 

Well, it's one of extremely few spoken lines in the game. Granted, it's been a very long time since I played, and I don't own the game so I can't verify if my quote is exactly right.


A couple more hints before I let it go.

It's a puzzle game, and not a recent one (early 90s, perhaps?)
The game is done entirely in first person - you never see your character, that I'm aware of.
Fully 3D, and the graphics were amazing for its time.

Biggest hint yet - the game centers around the gathering of pages, more specifically red and blue ones.

 

It's clearly Myst.

Nope. It's a game of probably more universal appeal than the Broken Sword series, and definitely of fewer words.
