@HB - Me neither. Hubby dusted off his PCGamers to confirm his equally dusty memory.

    Anyway, here's my quote:

    Oh boy, another course!

    @ HB, kuemper:

I rather expected people would have done... it really was ahead of its time and a great game.

Oh, and I have no idea what game that's from...

Ahh!!! Crusader!!!! I loved that game!

It all seems so obvious now...

As for kuemper's quote, I have no idea at all. :(

It's a 1st person space game where you are a specific pilot. The only real saving grace was the person the company managed to peg as the voice of your character. According to the manual pamphlet  in the CD case, the game's release is circa 2000.

I would say "Wing Commander" (Mark Hamill gave his voice to the series), but I thought the last one was from 1997...

Ooh! Is it the one where Bruce Campbell (a.k.a. Ash a.k.a. Autolycus, King of Thieves) does main character's voice?

EDIT: I remember the name now! Tachyon: The Fringe?

Crusader was an awesome game. Now that actually rings a bell. And it is like an Arnie movie :)

Magpie - a winner is you! It is Tachyon: The Fringe, Jake Logan (Bruce) gives the quote during one of the Letzer Training Ring courses you put him through.

The avatar says that in Ultima IX. It's even funnier if his class is paladin.

Bang on, Lost_Meme! Sorry for the delay; kinda forgot I'd posted!* And my Avatar was - indeed - a paladin in my first game through, and I almost fell of my chair in disbelief at the sheer stupidity of it! Thank heavens for the dialogue patch for salvaging some dignity for the closing chapter of this mighty RPG dynasty.

*See, this is what happens when I forget my brain medicine... *grumbles* :geezer: :shake:

Sorry for the delay myself, I probably should've checked this more often. Anyway, how about

Not even close, Arifirh. Here's a clue; it was re-released a year after it was originally released.

Give the Magpie a figurative coconut, it is indeed from the Dark Project. As I recall, Garrett says it when he hears the Horn of Quintos in the Bonehoard.

Yay! Shame Bonehoard was easily the worst level; the principle purpose of it seemed to be just to get you lost and confused. Not fun.

    Anyhoo, on with the quotage:

I'm sorry, did I break your concentration?

And no, I haven't got mixed up with the movie quote game...

    EDIT: 600 posts! W00t!
