    Got it as soon as it mentioned the canisters. That game is awesome; I should reinstall and finish it someday. Sequel's coming soon too.

    Well, I guess a hint is in order.

    The game is a console game, and a fairly recent one at that. The game is based upon a series of movies and its name and plot is taken from one of the earlier films in the series. The movie in question is most definitely NOT recent.

    No it isn't Men in Black.

    Oh, and I will clarify one thing. "NOT recent" could be interpreted as positively ancient for almost everyone here except Splunge ;) . The film in question was released nearly a decade before I was born.

    No it is not Flash Gordon.

    Another hint - the series of movies upon which the game is based recently celebrated its 50th anniversary - and they are still making them - i.e. there are a LOT of films in the series.

    The main character in the films has the odd tendancy to change somewhat in appearance from time to time through out the continuity of the series.

    The quality of the films in the series has been somewhat uneven with largely divided opinion on which era's films are best. They are not U.S. made - although there was a U.S. version made once that generally is considered garbage by most fans of the series.

    The game in question was released in 2002 and had a sequel released last year.

    It is a Godzilla game but that is not it.

    The film was somewhat unique in that the name Godzilla was not part of the title - the game in question is named Godzilla: followed by the films name and one additional word.
