Postal. New Uwe Boll movie. And to my utter surprise, it was quite good. Uwe had a cameo in it as well, ended up with him getting shot in the crotch, by the guy who created the Postal video-game.

Akira Kurosawa's Ran. I'd already seen the movie (back in the days of VHS...) but thanks to the Film Festival here I got to see it in on the big screen. It was SO worth £2.50. Incredible movie.

CONfidence. A fantastic movie, good plot twists, great acting. Never as good as first time, but still worth it.

I re-watched Kill Bill #1. The best out of the two. I really liked the little girl with the flail. Mean little knickerbocker.

Akira Kurosawa's Throne of Blood. It's basically MacBeth with samurai (and says quite clearly "adapted from Macbeth" in the credits). From what I remember of the play the movie follows its plot almost to the letter. Moving it to feudal Japan and twisting it ever so slightly to fit with the Japanese culture and values of the time makes for a very interesting movie.

Caught two in progress tonight. Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith, and The Princess Bride.

There's just something funny about watching Andre the Giant try to sneak around...

Hidden Fortress, my last Kurosawa movie at the Film Festival. Also his only movie I've seen so far where he doesn't kill off 80% of the cast. More comedy-oriented than the others and it took me a while to get into, but quite fun once I did.

Day Watch by Timur Bekmambetov, better than Night Watch, not spectacular perhaps, but interesting enough as an action/fantasy movie
