Caught the end of Ghost Rider last night while I was waiting for something else to come on. Not bad...

Although it had it's moment's when it just...sucked. But not half-bad as a superhero movie...

The last movie's I tried to watch were Ghost World and Chopper, but the dvd's were so damaged that it turned out to be impossible to watch them completely...

The wife and I went and saw Burn After Reading the other night. It took awhile to get things going. The first 30 minutes or so was quite dull...but once the movie got going, it was pretty funny.

Brad Pit's character is hilarious, and I loved the face he makes right before he:
    gets shot and dies.

The worst part of the movie is the fact that there isn't a single remotely attractive woman in the entire movie. :bad: Oh well...it had George and Brad, so the female folk were satisfied. :rolling:

    Oh I couldn't stand Hellboy 2...

And I ended up watching the Bucket List, it was solid, but not as good as it feels like it could've been.

I just saw Batman Begins. I was kinda scarred by the travesty of Batman & Robin, but this one was GREAT! Batman lives again. :)

    Star Wars VI.

[rant]WTF! They edited the ending! When they had Anakin, played by the guy in the Darth Vader suit, join Obi Wan and Yoda at the end, now it's Hayden Freakin' Christiansen! It's like they want to deny that IV, V and VI came before the first 3 episodes![/rant]

WTF is right. Lucas has really butchered the first three Star Wars movies.

I recently watched D.W. Griffith's "Birth of a Nation" and "Intolerance." "Nation" is highly controversial, extremely racist and offensive but historically pretty interesting. It's also considered a masterpiece of early cinema. Strange and disturbing film but one people should probably watch if only as an historical oddity.

Edward Scissorhands. I do enjoy this movie. So dark, yet sweet. Yup like it.

I saw the Jasan Statham version of "The Bank Job" last weekend. It was cool. Who would have thought that the fellow who played Hercule Poirot in all those PBS specials (David Suchet) would make such a good villain?

@LKD: He was quiet good as a villain in Executive Decision as well. And for a specific reason it's the best Steven Seagal movie as well:
The character Seagal plays is, unlike in his other films, a supporting character, and doesn't appear later in the movie.
Ok, you're not going to watch the film, so I can tell you that he gets killed :p

I saw Executive Decision a long time ago but didn't realize Suchet was in it. I liked the movie for the same reason you did, though!

I also just saw Forbidden Kingdom like Martaug. It felt like one of my old D&D games. It was fun. My only complaint was not enough nudity. ;)

The Bank Job got me used to lots of skin again. My wife was not happy, but SHE was the one who'd picked it so she didn't have much of a leg to stand on. :D:cool:

The Crow. It's a real shame Brandon Lee died before it was finished, but they had enough to complete it. Well, if you're gonna go, go with an EXCELLENT last show.
