    Without a clue?

(That's my guess, not a summary of my present condition - although that may well also turn out to be appropriate)

Okay gentlemen, here are the clues so far: In the final scene it shows the devil kicking and screaming against a guy's body buried in a swimming pool. The guy is a bald headed academy award winner and this is a british crime drama. How many bald headed academy award winners do you know? Not to make light of your guesses; this is a toughie, but this is the biggest clue.

 The only *completely* bald Oscar winning actors I know of are Yul Brenner and Lou Gossett, Jr., neither of which I recall filming a British crime drama. Unless the actor shaved his head for the part, I'm very lost.

I'm guessing it's Ben Kingsley, who won an Oscar for Ghandi.

Though I haven't seen it, I would therefore guess Sexy Beast with Ray Winston, as the trailor featured a Swimming Pool, and it definitely constitutes a British crime drama.

    edit: bad spelling day.

    Cheers Newfie,

The hero uses his newly found martial arts prowess to stop a bad guy from tracking white powder over his nice clean floor.

    Afraid not.

    Bizzare clue:
I'm pretty sure this film gave rise to the "hamster style" martial art as seen in Orgasmo, only... obviously not hamsters.

    Nope again,

    Another scene:

Narrow Chinese Street. Priest starting at one end, knocking on doors and telling the occupants to repent their sins. Wise old mentor starting at other end and pretending to beg from houses. Wise old mentor enters house where the only surviving member of his "school" should be. Instead he finds the arch enemies right hand man. Tries to escape, priest blocks the way calling for him to repent - and then stabs him in the shoulder.

    Edit:

    It's a Jackie Chan film.

    Second edit:

I can't quite believe we don't have any martial art film buffs on this site. It was probably the first Jackie Chan film to get him noticed, the one before "Drunken Master" which shot him to fame. There are three martial arts styles in the film, all named after animals and two of which (a bird and a reptile) form part of the film name. The third style is "Cat" style and quite hilarious.

Oh and the "Priest" turns out to be an evil Russian.
