    You can go a lot further than just gangster movies. From the comic book genre we can have Hellboy or Daredevil. Or you can go to the Marx brothers - I think it was in Duck Soup where Harpo cut a man's cigar using a pair of scissors and then lit it with a blow torch.

    A little boy dressed in red with a teddy bear is seen following 2 soldiers walking ahead of him. There is a sudden gunshot, and to their horror, the little boy was shot.
