    No, although another actor from The Right Stuff was originally cast for the lead, but it was given to a 'more popular at the moment' actor.

    Edit: I didn't think this would be all that hard, so another hint.... Dennis Quaid was initially given the lead role, but the popularity of Grease and Saturday Night Fever led movie execs to give the role to John Travolta.

    Well, you just made it easy. I don't remember the scene (I barely remember the movie), but the only movie I know of that had Travolta and Scott Glenn in it was Urban Cowboy.

    I'm absolutely, positively sure the protagonists are Chip and Dale. They are stealing Donald Duck's car because Donald chopped down their tree. And they absolutely want to re-plant their home. :D :grin: :shake:

    Heh, it was the suicide that gave me the clue - I don't even remember the tree scene, but it sounded like something they might do. As for the next one:

    An old lady lies in the nursing home, when suddenly a brush levitates from a table and brushes her hair as she dies...
