Has anyone been keeping track of the number of xXx quotes that have been posted? I think it has more than passed Army of Darkness as the most quoted movie in these games :p

I saw the perfect quote film the other day. Terrible, obscure and yet having a cast with a large number of well known actors who can serve as hints.

"Crazy bastard, he thought the wind would save him."

I guess I will give you another quote from the film to see if that jogs your memory. The line is said by the same character as the first quote and the actor who played the "human trash" was Robbie Coltrane.

"Every time a piece of human trash is put under a rock pile the world becomes a better place!"

    Joins Aldazar :bang:

Why does a Steven Segal movie keep coming to my mind.

Well, going off vague hints, and considering I haven't seen the movie for a long, long while... Nuns on the Run?

It is not a Steven Segal film and is not Nuns on the Run.

The actor who said the two quotes is very well known for playing one character and pretty well has done nothing else decent in terms of normal acting. However, he does has a very successful career in voice acting.

In one of the film's more amusing scenes, Ben Kingsley plays a Gandhi like character who loses his faith after his village of pacifists is attacked and he has been mortally wounded by being crushed by a millstone.

Doesn't ring any bells with me, sorry. I think you must have been right when you said earlier it was an obscure one.

If so, that settles it. Anything with Mark Hammill in it that isn't Star Wars is going to be undeniably 'obscure'.

:tie: Mark Hamill did indeed play the role. It is actually quite amusing to see him sporting a beard instead of the clean cut Luke Skywalker look. :tie:

Well, the only movie besides the Star Wars that I've heard of him being in (haven't actually seen the movie) would be Walking Across Egypt. Don't know if there are anymore, so...

    Walking Across Egypt, final answer.

    --EDIT--

Damn, should have used a lifeline

I admit it, I cheated. JSBB, that is an amazingly obscure movie. I have to go see it now.

I purchase the DVD out of the bargain bin as part of a two pack along with Abraxas: Guardian of the Universe for the princly sum of $3.95 Canadian. I an not quite sure that either film is actually worth $2 but they were both good for a few laughs - laughing at them, not with them that is. ;)

I am hoping that Aldazar has seen it. I will wait until tomorrow to see if he can guess it with the clues that have been posted over the week end. Otherwise I will rule the quote as unguessable and post a more softballish one.

Well, the only movie that comes to mind with Ben Kingsley and Mark Hamill in it is Slipstream, so even thought that doesn't ring quite right with me in regards to the quotes posted, that's my guess.

Still, it just doesn't seem right. Anyway, I know I'm gonna beat myself up when I see the right answer.
