The man screams, and he drops his dagger.

Morghir- "Calm down, there is no more reason to fight"

The man grumbles, and stumbles away, out of the tavern.

    Morghir- "Who was that?"
Unknown man- "Shurin Bloodfist, best stay away from him. He started a fight becouse he didn't want to pay for his meal. Anyways, I'm the bartender. Thank you for helping us out"
    Morghir- "It was nothing."
    Bartender- "Please, accept this gift."

The bartender shows Morghir an amulet. It looks old and worn, kind of cheap. It's an oval, and something is engraved in it:

Hélrn sen glòrn sui ferrilln lìm vlellïn

    Morghir- "What does it mean?"
Bartender- "I don't know, It's ancient elvish. I got it from my grandfather. Now I would like to give it to you."

    Will Morghir accept?

    Surprised, Morghir shakes his head.

"I'm sorry, but I was only doing what was right. I can't accept a family heirloom for something like that."

Morghir picks up the dagger. It is extremely sharp, and it has a light curve. The blade's grip is decorated with thorns and a beautiful red gem. The dagger feels surprisingly heavy, almost unwieldy. It seems to Morghir the dagger was made for decorative purposes only. Morghir looks closer, and notices that the grip is slighty translucent, and a red fluid can be seen inside.

Bartender- "Obviously, that dagger is stolen. It would surprise me if lowlife scum like bloodfist owned such a beautiful dagger!"
Morghir- "Any ideas to whom this might belong then?"
Bartender- "No, but I'd check out the wealthy district of the town of Arnfall, 20 miles further. That's the most likely place for such a dagger to be found"

    What should Morghir do now?

Morghir smiles and says that he will check it out on his way to Feriul. He leaves the tavern and sets out to Feriul.

Morghir leaves the tavern and heads towards the town's gates. On the way he finds 2 gold coins on the road, and picks them up. The guards by the gate offer him a pack with useful stuff for travelers, a new service throughout the realms.

Guard-"Only 3 gold coins my friend!"
    Morghir-"What's in it?"
Guard-"a 25 ft rope, bread, cheese, a lamp and a cloak."
    Morghir-"Not very expensive..."

    What should Morghir do?

Morgir leaves the town. He now stands in the Eldorian Plains. There is a road in front of him, leading to Arnfall. Morghir starts his journey.

After about 5 hours, Morghir realises he should have brought a map. Although he knows the Eldorian plains well, his geographical knowledge is limited to that only. He should try to find a map as soon as he leaves the plains.

Another 3 hours later, it is dusk. Morghir should try to find a suitable resting place, preferably out of the sight of thieves and thugs. To the east, he sees a faint glow emenating from the forest edge, about half a mile further. Morghir thinks it could be a camp fire.
He knows there is a small village more north, about 6 miles further. But by then it will be night and he shouldn't be traveling then, it is too dangerous. Of course, he can always try to rest right here, next to the road, but that would be very dangerous.

    What should he do now?

As he approaches the glow, it becomes clear he is headed towards a camp fire. Morghir sees a man in rags sitting next to the fire, he hasn't noticed Morghir yet; or so he thinks. Morghir comes closer. Suddenly, the man speaks calmly:

Man-"Come, traveler. Warm yourself here, there is always place for a good soul"

    Surprised, Morghir stands still.

Morghir-"How could you notice me, your back was turned towards me!"

The man laughs. It is a warm and friendly laugh, and Morghir, feeling comfortable with the man, puts his weapons away.

Man-"Good, you won't be needing those."
Morghir-"But how did you know I had daggers in my hands?"
    Man-"Come, sit down"

Morghir sat down next to the man. His face was behind his cloak.

    Morghir-"So, who are you?"
Man- "hah, many have asked, few have known."
    Morghir- "..."
Man-"I am Glengiad, wiseman of Ologo."

The wisemen of Ologo are an ancient cult, devoted to spreading wisdom to help and teach people. They are believed to be gone, yet legends say all seven are still alive. The wisemen served king Gregorius, until he was murdered by an unknown man. Ever since, the wisemen were never seen again. That happened 129 years ago.

    Morghir-"But.. you should be dead?"
    Glengiad-"I should be, yes."

There was a long silence. Until Morghir spoke again: ...
