    This thread is going a bit off-track. It's supposed to be about catch-phrases, not just great movie quotes.

    A "catch-phrase" is something that has been adopted into popular culture and used in everyday language so good examples are things like:

    "Go ahead, make my day";
    "I'll be back";
    "May the force be with you".

    Whilst many of the quotes mentioned in earlier posts are fantastic, not all of them are really catchphrases.

    Well one quote that, for me anyway, has become something of a catchphrase - albeit slightly modified - is from Aliens:
    "Get away from her you B!TCH" I change the 'her' to 'him' though.
