I was once asked for ID to buy a 15 game, I was 17 at the time. All I had was a college student ID, and they wouldn't accept that. Thing is, in England you have to be 16 to go to college!

 

I've been throwing up all day long but I still gotta do my work. 450 ads to take to their rightful owners.

And I have my own ID story. I had no difficulty getting a passport despite a photo that made me look like a violent criminal, but couldn't get a health card. I guess the message is Please leave the country, but we're not paying for you when you get sick or hurt...

 

The fact that ****ing summer is coming does extremely seriously pisses me off at the moment. More humid suffocating heat. I hate Quebec.

 

Having to work the Easter Weekend in order to get a Tender out the door, only to find the other consultants (Architects and Structural Engineers) haven't bothered.

My MOT and Car Tax are due.

 

Nothing - I'm with Harbs. Any annoyances in my life are too minor to waste energy on.

In general, what pisses me off is smokers who can't take the effort to dispose of their butts properly, and just drop them wherever. Also the smokers who think that the "No smoking area" signs don't apply to them and light up wherever they want - lazy, inconsiderate jerks.

True. Those people just have no regard for the "smoker's etiquette".

My mp3 doesen't work anymore, either. It works only when plugged into my comp. Blech, so many things are pissing me off that if I had a box of Captain Black, I'd smoke them all one after the other.

 

Being asked for ID is a good thing. Especially as you get older. I got asked for ID when buying beer last week. I had the boy in one arm and the rest of my shopping was infant food and nappies and the cashier still thought I was some punk underage kid buying alcohol. Not to mention that the last time I was under 18 was last century.

 

Jeez, are they really strict about that kind of thing in Kiwiland?

I know America is extremely strict about that. The last time I was there, ID was needed almost every time any of us bought beer. Even my dad. It's doubly strict in restaurants, which I find even more bizarre.

Here, a 14 year old can go and buy a bottle of cider at an offy, no problem. It's supposed to be under 18, but shopkeepers very rarely enforce that. it's extra profit for them, isn't it?

 

-I'm constantly stressed because I'm slipping at my A-levels. Stress means chronic headaches, which means more stress, and a lurking fear that I have a brain tumour.

-I realised what I wanted to become AFTER I picked said A-levels, meaning the stuff I'm doing holds no relevance to me anymore.

-I absolutely loathe at least 2/3rds of the people at my college, having to constantly endure their various bigotries, idiocies and stupid opinions.

-I can't get drunk often enough.

-I want to be left alone, but I don't want to be alone. I'm confused.

-There are no cute girls in my college.None. They're all either heavily made up, hoop-earring'd tracksuit-wearing idiots or depressed, opinionated, just plain annoying emo girls.

In closing, I really want to blow something up.

 

I tend not to focus on what sucks, or what makes me unhappy, but instead focus all of my energy on what is good, and what makes me happy.

 

In America, if they get caught, they get their alcohol license removed, as well as getting fined and possibly arrested. Its not worth the few extra bucks for them.

 

All right, I found something else that bugs me, although I'm not actively unhappy over it: celebrity gossip being treated liked actual important news.

 

Partially for me, but mostly for the other helpful people out there:
Why does everyone keep attributing every first helpful post to me? I don't mind when I'm actually the one who made the post, but so far posts by Magpie and now kuemper have been attributed to me. WTF?!? Credit where it's due, I say.

Cleaning is very bad, ask Arabwel. I only do it when the crumbs under my feet don't fall off.

 

Our phone provider giving us a number that's been used by someone else before, so we're continually getting spam calls for someone we've never heard of


And online casinos with their damn annoying popups that get through popup blockers!

 

Being whipped to death by the army pretty much does it. Next week a camp with about six hours of sleep in a week plus the engineer march which is 30 kilometer full package march, and the whipping only gets worse the week after when we have the barette march which is 100 kilometers long. Two toughest and most painful weeks of my military service awaits and I'm not exactly looking forward to it.

 

Me, huh? No worries.

Except it appears that I've as much personality as a damp washcloth. Or maybe it's something else, but I can't seem to get a girl, girlfriendwise.

I called my date the other day, and she didn't answer and probably won't call back. Taking that as 'not really interested'.

What am I complaining, it's not that I'm even trying, but still...It's not exactly that I've a huge need to have a girlfriend, but it would be nice to know that someone would be interested in me.

I'm going to die as a lone and embittered old man, tough luck, cry me a river.

Edit: Oh yeah, and I have this uncanny ability to bore almost anyone to their death. This sucks, royally.
