    1). The Simpsons
    2). Ren and Stimpy
3). South Park (don't get to see it anymore, but still great.
4). Dr Katz (same as above)
5). Hmm, tough call here as I don't see much t.v. anymore, but I'll go with Dexters Laborotory. Not an all time pick by any means, but still funny.

[IMG] Geesh, actually 90% of those fantasy-hero-adventure cartoons are great, although The Thundercats are undoubtably on number 1... while Southpark and Ren&Stimpy and such (although I must admit I've barely seen any of their episodes) are clearly the best if you turn the list upsidedown.

What happened to Inspector Gadget, and why don't any US channels show the Transformers anymore, just this Beast Wars crap!? Is this the same for the rest of you that don't live in this wonderfully deprived society?

[IMG] You talk about cartoons as if there is only TV in your lives.... VERY sad.

Some of the greatest cartoons ever made are Newspaper strips:

    1. Calvin & Hobbes
    2. Beetle Bailey
    3. Carl Barks's classic Disney cartoons (Not film) Fantastic stories.
    4. Calvin & Hobbes (So good they named him twice! :) )
    5. Simpsons (Yeah I know, TV cartoon, but absolutely brilliant!)

Did I mention Calvin & Hobbes? Oh yeah.

I consider newspaper strips to be "comic strips" and not cartoons... But yeah, Calvin & Hobbes is my all-time favorite comic strip. It was a sad day when the artist stopped producing for the paper...

I loved the Thundercats!! Anyone remember The Pirates of Dark Water? It was my favorite when I was a kid. So that's two, others would have to be, starting with my favorite, The Tick, then The Simpsons, and (older, like with the original creator) Ren and Stimpy. I also used to be devoted to Liquid Television (that's pre Beavis and Butthead, for all you kiddies). I guess that's six, oh well.
