    Practically nothing is known about Mahtan because he can't remember his past.All that is known about him is his description after people meet him. He has blue eyes and long black hair. He is tall 6'2 , has slightly pointed ears and a light complexion. He is not a very humourous person but will occasionally crack a joke. Watch out, they usually hurt.

    Edit: Dalamar is now more of an rouge-ish looking fellow, he wears a dark blue cloth outfit, under some leather. He likes knives, and he is trying out some martial arts, but he still wears the trusty body suit, and has the helmet on his possesion. He can repair his clothes with magic, if you're confused on how he isn't wearing tatters from the spiky suit.

    This is a character for when, and hopefully if, I join...I felt that from looking at your characters so far that you pretty much have everything covered, and alot seem to be spell caster/fighters...so I went with a Spell caster...

    Name: Feren Joyce
    Gender: Male
    Age: 34
    Class: Mage (probably not a proper class but they're all the same :p )
    Alignment: Due to his thirst for knowledge he has come to realise that evil is only a matter of perspective, as such he's pretty accepting of everyone and maintains his optimistic outlook no matter the circumstances. He is Neutral.

    Feren is young for a mage, but you should not underestimate him, he's talented. He has very little skill in normal combat, not being very strong, but his mind is sharp and he is clever.

    His repitoir of spells is nigh on bottomless due to a powerful artifact he found, it is a spell book bound in black leather with the emblem of a great serpent on the front, made from moulded silver. This book means that as long as Feren has the will power and the energy he can cast any spell he likes, but due to his rather low physical stamina this does not make him invulnerable.

    He wears strong sturdy boots, with baggy black trousers, a dark blue shirt, and a hooded midnight blue cloak (which he enchanted to protect him from the elements). As you can tell he is not your usual mage. His personality is to some people annoyingly optimistic, it is hard to find a situation that Feren cannot find a brightside to "Look on the bright side..." is an expression Feren is adept at using.

    BACKSTORY (Stuff that may be useful later)

    Feren was born in a small town somewhere between Waterdeep and Baldur's Gate, his parents were tavern owners and as such were able to live in relative comfort with some excess. Even as a child it was often commented how inquisitive the boy was. He always wanted to learn more. He soon caught the eye of the towns wizard and with his parents consent became an apprentice to the old man. He learnt much but soon his tutor could not feed the young mans desire for knowledge anymore, his student had far exceeded him.

    It was a winters night when a small army of Gnolls raided the town, swiftly overwhelming the town guard and slaughtering any folk they came upon. Feren and his master stood in the town square unleashing great spells and cutting the Gnolls down mercilessly, but it was not enough, Ferens master fell to a Gnoll javlin and Feren was knocked unconcious and left for dead.

    When he came to he found his town in ruins, the corpses of his friends and family strewn about the place, some half devoured by the scavaging Gnolls. He gathered up what supplies he could find and began a pursuit of the Gnolls, soon he was undeniably lost. He wandered the wilds using his magic to capture food, and to survive the harsh days and nights, he soon became accustomed to his life as a traveller, enjoying the prospect of each new day and the new horizons it would bring.

    It was after 2 winters of this new life that he came upon a ruin, it was dark and ominous in appearence and a goldmine for an inquisitive, knowledge hungry person like Feren. He had grown in power since the destruction of his home and soon overpowered any creatures that had made a home of the ruin...inside he found a small library, perfectly preserved, he made a home here, a new start. he lived happily undisturbed here for 2 more winters, he read all the books that were in this repository of knowledge, and it was during this time he came upon the powerful artifact he holds. Its title is "Wer chiilipen compediuim di Suiaerl Naam" which translated from Draconic means "The complete compendium of Arcane knowledge".

    After devouring all the knowledge of his library he headed out into the wilds again taking the Compendium with him, for 5 years he has been travelling the world, searching for new pieces of knowledge and artifacts.

    He is always interested in stories, rumours, gossip, legends and the like, since it may lead him to greater knowledge and understanding. Over his 5 years of travel he has become a master of magic able to take on groups of fierce warriors and adept spell casters single handedly, his compendium provides him with an almost limitless repitoir of spells and incantations.

    A few notes:

    Feren's mental defences are intricate and cunning, he will know if someone is probing his mind and may have a few little tricks when dealing with this ;)

    He has no skill with any physical weapons at all, apart from knowing which end of a sword to hold. He relies completely on his arcane abilities. Thus close combat generally entails him avoiding the enemy and zapping them every chance he gets.

    He does not require components for alot of his spells, although some still do need them, he carries a few bits and pieces with him for such occasions, and is always on the look out for more.

    Thats the basics, I'll add history and Bio and stuff as I get time...let me know if he sounds interesting enough so far, and whether the books over powered ;)

    Nah, we're all pretty powerful. :D And the book sounds interesting, something he would be very picky about who touched it. "Can I see tha--?" "No! Don't touch!.. My precious.." Hehehe.. :D

    Septh Na'sith

    Drow/Half-Dragon (Shadow)

    Male, 128 years old

    Allignment: Chaotic Neutral

    Apperance: Of medium hight and build, slim with black eyes
    Wings, claws and slightly pointed features mark his heratige as draconic in nature.

    Septh orignally hailed from the Underdark, specificly from Menzoberranzan, but left at the relitively young age of 50. Septh had grown tired with the senceless chaos and death inspired by the worship of Lolth and decided to seek a new life on the surface.

    Exactly how (or why) his mother chose to mate with a Shadow dragon is unknown, due to her death during childbirth.

    He dresses in black clothing with boots that muffle any acidental sound he might make, and carries his rapier "shadows touch" with him at all times.


    Current Bio: Haveing heard rumors of a group of slightly stronger the average villians who were attempting to become gods (or demi-gods depending on what tale he listened to), Septh decided to invistigate for himself. He would then decide wether to kill them or join them.

    Good good. Elwithral will be pleased, and remember don't hold back, we're all pretty darn powerful. But remember Dalamar and Elwithral are legends, so like, don't be more powerful than them. You can be just as powerful if you want, but I like to use my martial skills more than my magic skills. :)

    Equipment: Ygor mostly use two Handaxes dual-wielded, but he also have a broadsword in a sheath over his back, under the cloak, that he is able to use as well. He can usually be seen wearing a black Chainmail over a grey tunic and a dull, grey cloth outfit. He also have a black cloak with an insigna of an open eye covering his back and a helmet completely covering his head.(kind of my avatar, actually.)
    Appearance: Bald, black Van Dyke-styled facial hair, and a rather muscular body, as he is from the harsh north.

    Bio:
    Born into the noble family of Targos, Ygor thought he would have an easy life in front of him. However, tradition in the family was that the oldest living son would go out on a pilgrimage to Athkatla to visit the Temple of Tempus located in the city. As Ygor was the youngest of the two brothers, he did not worry about this, but an assassination of his older brother when Ygor was 16 forced him to quickly learn how to keep himself alive in combat and how to survive in the harsh wilderness of Faerûn.

    He left his home at the age of 23, and he had just turned 24 when he arrived at his destination, Athkatla. Athkatla was one of the largest cities in the region, and become famous all over the continent after the Bhaalspawn Crisis only a year ago. As a result, thousands had died, cities had been raised, and the Shadow Thief guild of Athkatla had been all but destroyed.

    During this turmoil, hundreds of magic users started to use their arcane powers on the street, enraging the Cowled Wizards. At first, it was not a big problem, but the magic users grew in strength and numbers and after only a few months the Cowled Wizards were brought to their knees.

    Then they realized that they could not defeat this threat alone. They recruited mercenaries from all four corners of Amn, and started to train them in the powers of the Wizard-Slayers.

    During this time, Ygor had worked with the clerics of Tempus in the small and newly founded temple, but when a group of renegade wizards assaulted the temple and slayed all in it, Ygor(who had been home, resting) decided to join the Cowled Wizards to stop the incursion and bring back stability to Athkatla.

    Ygor rose through the ranks of the Inqusition, as the local populace dubbed them, and soon he became a captain of his own company. This company, the All-Seeing Eye, became the leading company in bringing down the deviants, and after twenty years the threat was all but gone. However, he felt that the corrupted leadership of the Cowled Wizards, fuelled by the loss of many of their leaders by the deviant Irenicus, was bringing the organization down.

    So, he started an internal Inquisition called the Templar Knights, using the men under his command as an autonumos strikeforce to arrest and detain anyone that posed an internal threat to the organization.

    Over two weeks, six out of the ten leading Cowled Wizards were arrested and executed for deviantism and heresy by the Templar Knights. The remains of the council realized the danger and quickly acted, using the remains of their loyal troops to attack the Templar Knights when they were resting and Ygor was out of town. Out of the hundred men Ygor commanded, only eight made it out alive to warn Ygor.

    The nine men, the final Templar Knights, set out to leave Athkatla and return with an army to bring down the heretics holding the city at bay.

    The men decided to head to Baldur's Gate, one of the largest mercenary gatherings in the entire region, and hire the best men money could buy. However, on the way there, they were attacked by a large group of cutthroats, leaving only Ygor and his shieldbearer Asos alive, although Asos had suffered grevious wounds and did not survive the trip to Trademeet.

    In Baldur's Gate, he found out that most mercenaries was recently recruited by the Flaming Fist, largest Mercenary Company of the Sword Coast. However, he also caught word of a small company of adventurers headed to Lurkwood to defeat some dangerous evil in the area. After hearing of the last name of one of the adventurers, Irenicus, he realized that he had one of the most potent bloodlines to possibly get to his aid. And as such, he travelled to Lurkwood and followed the trails of his hopefully future employees.

    Appearance: Isheir appears a young man with dusky brown skin and jet black hair. He isn't anything special in terms of appearance, being neither ugly or handsome, his scars are however set him apart from those around him, most notable is the large scar running from his hair line on the right side of his face to his jawline. Isheir always dresses in simple clothing, typically with leather armor underneath. A falchion hangs across his back.

    History: Isheir was born to a prostitute in ____, Calimshan. Isheir was orphaned at the age of four when a particularly violent john beat his mother to death. Out of necessity, Isheir learned to fight and steal. As time passed, Isheir found himself drawn to Amn and Athkatla more specifically. In Athkatla, Isheir found himself acting as a mercenary for local gangs in turf wars. As time passed, it became clear that Isheir was a cut above the others who plied their bloody trade in the lawless parts of Athkatla, establishing himself as "King of the Streets", gaining a certain amount of leeway from the guards and the Shadow Thieves alike. Isheir has learned over time, the hard way sometimes, that strength and fighting prowess aren't always the best way to deal with things and has a cordial relationship with the guards of Athkatla and the Shadow Thieves by catering to the needs of both parties. Isheir has recently left Athkatla, answering the summons of a companion that Isheir hasn't seen since he was 15.

    Bio: Trellyn has never known his parents, and never known where his father (his elven heritage) came from, as a result he has a distrust and unease with the elven races. But generally he leaves them alone if they leave him alone. At an early age he was struck by lightning, which has allowed him to climb the ranks as a Stormlord of his patron God Talos. He also has 2 children by 2 different mothers, he looks after the children and mothers in a cottage somewhere near Waterdeep.

    It's suppose to say Calimshi-te, minus the dash, the type of humans commonly found in Calimshan and Tethyr. The Calim****es are a sub-race of humans found in the Races of Faerun book who are Turkish/Arabic in flair. They tend to shorter and slimmer then other humans as well.

    Okay, Isheir should be up around 4:00 CST or so on Friday. On Friday I'll be able to get my hands on my books again and try to remember what the benefits of the Street Fighter prestige class are and be able to get a look at my Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting, Races of Faerun and Player's Guide to Faerun books to make sure my character turns out proper.
