So, are Tutu/EasyTutu and the BG Trilogy compatible? At first I thought they were the same thing but after reading about each I realize they serve different purposes. I'm planning on installing EasyTutu soon and would like to use the Trilogy as well for continuity's sake.

    Hello -

BGT and Tutu are essentially two different ways to play BG1 using the BG2 engine. BGT also lets you continue on and play BG2 within the same installation.

If you want to choose between them, your best bet is to visit each mod's home site and forums and do some reading. For what it's worth, I think Tutu does a better job of BG1 using the BG2 engine, and I think it has better mods (and a better modding community devoted to it). However, opinions vary and you should do some reading (and experimenting) to help you decide on yours. :)

Mmk, thanks. I believe I'll go with Easy Tutu as it has the best directions/documentation and seems to have the most consensus in terms of playability and stability. Now I just have to wait for BG1: The Original Saga to arrive upon my doorstep.
