    I'm surprised that spoogemonkey hasn't replied to this :D :D :D :D
    I found myself in here in chapter two and I had a fairly difficut fight, I died a few times, didn't play the game for a while then discovered the Ctrl R (?) cheat - the one that heals/resurects party members.

    my tactic was simple:
    my protagonist was an inquisotor, have him wield carsomyr, put everyone back...then i sent him in...i just drew them to the lich to the door and dispelled his protections and whacked him with carsomyr. i had jaheira throw an insect swarm at the other mage in the room and had my inquisitor whack the beholder
