The game totaly owns. I was playing through it with a Toreador (because it seemed like it would increase the roleplaying). Its one of the best RPGs I have played, but I kinda stopped playing it after I got stuck trying to enter the society of leopold. I keep getting my ass shot every time I try to enter. I didnt focus much on increasing my shooting skills, so its hard to take them down at range.

Impossible, I'd say, since the character tends to aim anywhere else but where you want -even if you stay still and crouched. "The best game ever", indeed.

Put skillpoints into firearms and surprisingly the character hits where you wants. Personally I really don't get the complaints about the combat system anyway. The only thing wrong with the game is that it doesn't warn the player of the mandatory hardcore combat he's going to have to do in the endgame. The combat itself is far superior to Deus Ex, KOTOR or Oni for example. In my opinion anyway.

Last time I played the game through with a malkavian, I used a 3:rd person viewpoint for firearms all the time (much more difficult than with 1:st person view). Few enemies got close enough to hit me before I shot them. If you just stick to walking instead of running when you need to hit something, you can shoot things with a pistol from a range that is pretty close to the maximum range you'll ever even see the game. Firearms is the one skill in the game that really needs 8-10 skillpoints.

As for combat, I played with a Tremere on the first run-through and had to use my fists or guns only on rare occasions (blood boil rules)

The replayability is great! With the Malkavian, I got a totally new experience.
Not the best RPG I ever played, but still very entertaining (a lot better than Deus Ex 2)
