there were no dogs until human domesticated the mild wolves. So, of course dogs, especially cute little ones, are pretty much independent to human, because it is us who made them end up in such state today.

Pet animals were not meant to live in the wild. They were forcefully breed to fit the pleasure of human. Gerbils, hams, little cute mice, they are all artificially selected and breed to be cute.

On a similar note, what are the point of Locusts? They just eat everything and don't die. Supposedly, if you chop a locust's head off, it'll stay alive until it dies of starvation, rather than blood loss, or the fact that it no longer has a brain.

But i agree, i don't like wasps, especially since i was minding my own business when one of them came and stung me twice for no reason at all.

I've never seen a locust, that I know of. But wasps are EVERYWHERE. So they are more of a nuisance.

I have a fear of wasps and bees that probably goes back to when I was a little kid. Early one summer morning, I ran out into the backyard. Then it happened. In retrospect, I realize that I was standing about half an inch away from a bee's flightpath, which took it directly in front of my eyes. It continued on its way, not bothering me, but to a little kid, it looked like a bee the size of a baseball had flown past me. I stayed inside for the rest of the week, and I haven't liked bees (or most other winged insects, for that matter) since. Crawlers I have no beef with. It's the flyers I don't like.

You know, last year, I was stung by a bee/wasp (didn't get a good look at it) and it didn't feel like I was stabbed, it felt like nothing for a while, then started throbbing for about an hour. Odd. I imagined it would be like a needle that you'd only feel as you were stabbed.

I feel exactly the same as you, Soul :(

And my worst nightmare is being trapped in a bus with a wasp flying around, or a bee
