As a person seeking employment now, its mind boggling to hear about all these people goofing off at work.

I'll gladly work and leave SP and the web at home. Because when it's my time off, it's my time off. The opposite should be true. It's a two way street.

Besides, aren't you afraid your boss will find out about this idle use of time at work and shut your operation down?

Well, Ben, that sucks for you that you're looking for a job. As a teacher, I have a fair amount of time in class that I cannot use to do too much because I don't want to be banging around while kids are working or writing a test. Conversely, a large amount of my time at home is spent marking and preparing. So it kind of evens out! As long as I'm learnin' the young 'uns good, it's all good.

I don't have any clients now, which *should* mean I'm focusing on my doctoral research, but *actually* means I'm on SP a lot and will shortly be playing Greyhawk a lot (hey, it's sort of like a job, I'm writing the walkthrough).

Thank God I have no internet access in my office on campus (only temporarily, due to construction work). At least there I can really force myself to work undisturbed. Here at my home office I'm being really, really, really bad.
