    Killer Angels
    Gods and Generals
    The Last Full Measure
Plus a few more that I can't recall right now.

I highly recommend them, they are a most accurate and moving story. It reads more historical fiction than textbookish, but it's so detailed and accurate.

Okay, I thought the names sounded familiar. Yep, I've read Killer Angels and Gods and Generals. Good stuff. Although I didn't really care for the movie adaptation of Killer Angels (entitled Gettysburg) although it is one of the better CW films. Glory was much better - watch it if you haven't already but be warned: there's blood, guts, gore, and extremely vulgar language.

I'm in the middle of Gods and Generals right now, I haven't gotten to Killer Angels yet, but I had no idea that Gettysburg was the adaption of that. I've seen both Gettysburg and Glory, and they were both damn good IMO, though I'm sure it doesn't hold a candle to the book.
